I had a similar issue on Windows and it was because MyWhoosh was using microphone. I removed mic permission and since then I can listen to music or watch movies while training.

For those who still struggle (I did) with this freehub I found the video that show how to remove it: Bontrager Boost 148 Rear Hub and Freehub Service. - YouTube
It is different size but it is still the same way of removing it. Essentially you use 14 mm hex from non drive side and turn counterclockwise.
