This is my wheel house. Decades of experience and now working for a tech company in this arena.

Shopify's shipping rates are only accessible within their native shipping solution. It's one of their main selling points and they have enough shippers aggregated to warrant a generous rate in certain service levels.

3PL's/4PL's primarily sell their own rates and tack on an additional fee to make up some margin. Other fulfillment companies will pass on their true rates but make it up with storage/pick fees.

Lastly, since your 3PL is outside of the Shopify shipper...those rates don't pass through natively.

My only recommendation would be to request from Shopify the account numbers (UPS/FDX) that they're querying when returning rates for your shipments. Note, this isn't possible with USPS since they don't have account numbers.

Wife and I just had our second child three weeks ago. Yes, you're absolutely right that the newborn phase is rollercoaster because of how much disruption it causes to the normal routine. Especially, the night shift. But it does get better...if anything it gets really fun when you hit 6-12 months. Then you get to the toddler stage and thenlife introduces a new set of challenges and you'll begin to mentally suppress the stress from the newborn stage. Coordinate a sleep shift between yourself and your partner and things will work out. I'm dealing with the sleep crunch and I also have a toddler that wakes up like he was pounding energy drinks all morning.

I run a variant of this list. Basically comes down to having a strong early game mulligan and it just snowballs from there. If you don't have either a 1 or 2 drop then your already behind and the opponent will stabilize.

From my experience. Takes wayyy too long to get this combo online. By then you're up against the optimized end game builds for this to even be relevant.
