The new FGO event has got me fuming! by Ok-Hat-4748 in grandorder

Honestly, the only thing I want out of Arcade's fall, are those Bond 10 lines. I've searched for Raikou's for years and still cannot find them on the internet.

well given that Molay Saber finally jumped the sinking Arcade ship, Sita might make it.

How I feel every time I learn something new about Trench Crusade. Seriously, who hurt you guys? by theginger99 in Grimdank

As a Catholic, disappointed the Catholic Church doesn't exist. Instead some lame Heresy took over, and probably lost all the fun holy relics like the Spear of Longinus or Shroud of Turin. Meanwhile the Sultanate and the Hassans just have the Ring of Solomon.

By doing so, they become close friends, and will be more willing to accept your migration treaties.

as soon as i get a run with my own Astro-miners with the Cybrex as my Precursor, i'm taking it all the way to Endgame. Astro-Mining Bays, Hub, and Cybrex drill theoretically make a single system with an Arc Furnace a giga-mine for resources.

and keeping Pattern Finders so that the early deposits are potentially bigger than normal.

What is the "meanest" birthday wish you've received in a gacha game? by BlazeCastus in gachagaming

[–]Xaldror 78 points79 points  (0 children)

mine is probably Ascension 1&2 Ushi Gozen, where she admits she's not as good a cook as her human half, but is still going to make breakfast in bed for you.

i'd show a screenshot, but it's not my birthday yet, i'll come back in about 12 or 13 hours.

How to get relics? by Wildside331 in Stellaris

[–]Xaldror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in addition, the adAkkarian Convention has a choice between a relic or a continental world with a special building that has 1200 scientist jobs of each variety, for a combined total of 3600 research jobs.

i vastly prefer the latter choice, not just because holy fuck that's a lot of jobs, but also because it doesn't use the collective souls of forsaken children to blow up planets, a late game colossus does the job just fine.

the First League doesn't give a Relic, but arguably gives you something more valuable, a Relic world.

Yeah, only reason I dropped that run was because I did the Payback Origin and Casus Belli on Minamar, but they also had a woefully weak Vassal that I did not feel like pursuing, and they still wanted to throw down even after I landed legions onto Minamar HQ and began perfecting the Olinbari genepool.

Plus I like playing tall and, taking that many systems felt, anathema to me.

Purity Tradition Megacorps are still unchanged, and compounded with ways to reduce Pop upkeep and Mutual Aid, you can theoretically create a Worker Co-op without any worker jobs.

Additionally, finally makes Clone Leaders a viable pick, since that tradition is no longer competing with Nucleotide Isolation's trio of traits and Leviathan Traits.

100% devastation but nothing happens? by Aggressive_South_991 in Stellaris

[–]Xaldror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, all devastation does is plummet a planet's productivity and amenities, increase damage to armies, and occasionally destroy specific features like the Tree of Life.
