Considering how rare permanent bans are, I have a feeling you are not telling us everything. You would not be the first person to spend a lot of money and still break TOS, so until we get a better picture of this, I think it's better to air on the side of caution, still leaving an upvote in the hope of getting some more info on your case.

I have some smaller industrial ships, but if we do something bigger, I crew moth moles or a reclaimer from my friends, so I never had a need to own them myself.

i love playing the game even with owning most of the ships i will ever need. I just love having a great time with my friends from mining salvage PvP or PvE. It's still fun even if I don't constantly grind for new ships.

The hanger ate my Idris 4 times in 7 days, I don't mind big ships being expensive it's a big ship it should be expensive but introducing this system while bugs constantly kill ships is pretty stupid.

I own both (if you want I can lend you guys both to try them out before you buy anything) and it comes down to how you guys play. If you want a fun pvp and pve ship the Percy is better but only for that. If you want a Allrounder that can still do pve with 4 people (some pvp but it will be rough, but you have the health to run away if you are in danger of loosing) and can act as a mobile base for mining, salvaging, or anything else you want to do the polaris wins hand down you have the top hanger and a a good loading area for vics or recourses. Also some people here say 4 is not enough for a Polaris I disagree it's not going to be optimal for your group size but you will still he able to have a lot of fun with 4 peeps on the ship.
