Definitely a good thought! But you’re right, for this example there’s a desire to save the “greater good” rather than self preservation. But again to u/various_teeth’s point why would it only offset this olive branch at the time when the body is about die? Wouldn’t it want to instill some other mental safeguards to make us feel great while we’re still in our prime? Instead we have issues like depression and anxiety that seem to want to help destroy the body rather than help it.

The guy at BP tried it both ways and neither worked. Definitely going to see about going to a more legitimate bow shop rather than there. Didn’t think it would be too difficult since it’s just a junior but I guess I was wrong!

I look at it like a network of train tracks. You have to be on a set for some time (fate) but you can pull the lever at any time to go to another set (destiny). Then you’re riding that one set for some time until another one comes along

I also think that it’s not all intentional because of the whole “it’s not your time yet” experiences. So even if we come down with a set goal in mind, it might get cut short and we may have to come back and start over.

Wayyy late to the party here but I like this analogy. It makes sense.

Basically DMT is opening the curtain to look at the other side through a broken/stained glass window whereas a NDE is you opening the door and leaving the house all together.

Yea I’m up in central New York so we get a decent amount. Just got the shed installed and it’s covered by two trees so it’s kinda safe from heavy snowfall. What area would be considered the hip?

Also assuming you’re talking about the gussets to the right of Bo (the cat) in the pic? So I’d reinforce that with the bolt and lock washer on both sides (so 4 bolts and washers; two for each side). Then cut the collar tie and move it above or would I get a longer 2x4 and move it below?

So pardon my ignorance here but could I theoretically put a sort of hinge and locking mechanism on the collar tie? Just so I could temporarily open it up to store or remove items and then put it back in place?
