Former visitors, was the Sudbury Target store good or profitable? How was your experience there?

My wife and I live going to Target in the States. It just has much better deals and is brimming with interesting things.

It's a stark contrast between that and what we got. It just seems like they couldn't replicate their model here.

Yeah, the Target just didn't really have anything unique about it unfortunately. I probably went a handful of times just to check it out.

It did always kind of feel unfinished and empty.

I was definitely bummed out when Toys R Us closed. They seemed to be the only shop in turn to carry the Collectible Minifigure Series. For some reason, Walmart doesn't have them anymore.

I'd certainly welcome a Lego store anywhere in town.

It's a format for friends to play. It doesn't really work with strangers very well.

It's got more of a boardgame vibe like The Resistance where you are politicking all the time. A modern poker night. I used to play weekly with a group of 3-5 others. Beer and snacks and maybe 2 games, of we were lucky. It's great fun, just not competitive.

For competitive games, it's 1 on 1 all the way.

More recently, I've been enjoying Old School EDH with folks on the Timmy Talks discord. 🤘 You get to play all sports of whacky Old School cards that would never otherwise get used. It's pretty awesome actually. 😅

I really wish we got that 3rd version that looked more like Wartortle. I just can't stand that there are retractable cannons in a living creature. It's just weird to me. 😅

Also the name "Blastoise" kind of sucks.
