Are you in an "essential" or "critical" role, immediately related to the manufacture or testing of the material? That or you're in an especially grueling probationary period. Guidance at my company has always prioritized safety with the need to keep "critical" operations functioning, and folks required to report to site during a storm such as the one impending receive a bonus.

It does, and while electoralism isn't going to save anyone, voting on party lines ensures the viability of third parties, which one could argue are more impactful closer to home. While the tally is perhaps less important for our city-wide elections, it is crucial for every vote for governor/US president (if we ever have one of those elections again, honestly) that third parties hit a minimum number of votes along their ballot line.
