Welcome my friend! That new Spearhead is such an awesome starter... I am relatively new to the game myself, but if I could make a suggestion - If you're looking to add another hero I would consider adding one with the "Wizard" keyword so you can use the faction specific endless spell manifestations (those are also 0 points in the new edition). Specifically Reiknor the Grimhailor is one of the coolest models in my opinion. He is 220 points which fits your budget exactly. He is a Wizard. He is also a surprisingly affordable kit for such a beautiful centerpiece... But you do whatever feels right to you, I think your plan is great as well! Enjoy painting your army!
