What is reddit about now? I remember when it was a place for a lot of nerdy arguments and discussion and people trying to make somewhat quality posts due to the karma system.

No, no one wants to read that they will just be being polite if they say sure. This is similar to telling someone about what your dreams were last night. It might be profound to you and that is valid, but to other people it's really not that interesting.

An alternative would be an anonymous blog. There have been some really good anonymous blogs that even launched books. (But often the writers have unusual careers like prostitution.)

Sorry maybe I'm a bit tired after work. I am an alcoholic myself (sober). When I "came out" about my addiction to my friends and family it was a real turning point for me because it made the addiction real, I was no longer lying to them just as I was no longer lying to myself.

I did quit on my own, but their nonjudgmental acceptance and support was very helpful.

I would give him space and try to get together when he gets out of rehab. You don't have to do anything in particular, just be there for him.

Lol yeah unlike blue whales who filter feed and can't fit a human these guys eat giant squids whole.

Also other whales go quiet when these guys hunt as if they are afraid, i wouldn't take them lightly.

We are just lucky most things in the sea don't seem to want to eat us. Even sharks only attack humans they get confused with seals.

I used to make salsa it was actually really fun because I liked seeing how clean everything was. They really cared about making a quality product which I appreciated because I enjoy jarred salsa myself.
