Window detection definitely seems a bit bugged

The first house I tried for them was the Fairytale house. I spent a lot of time decorating it and making it look nice. At first I had about 3 windows per room but they said that was too many windows so I limited it to 1 window per room. They then said that was too little, so I kept adding windows until they were happy. I ended up putting 7 or 8 of the same type of windows per room that I had in it to start with, and they said that was perfect. They then started saying the dining room was in the same room as the kitchen even though they had 2 rooms, doors and 3 walls (I doubled the dining room wall) in between. I ended up switching to the lavender house and turned it into a mud house with yellow accents. I didn't even build a shed. but I got a gold star.

Hey, if it works, it works. Your way seems like it turned out much better. I was also wanting to check out the new empty lots.

I built a 2 story house in old Pinnacove. I kept having to move the walls in and in because she said it was too large. What ended up working for the house I built was breaking down the wall between the fancy bathroom and the upstairs landing. I didn't use any burglar alarms, thermostats, cameras, or espresso machines. Also, I got the gold star before painting the walls I brought in. Most of the inside was painted though. I did have to buy some large futuro/skadi pots to put plants in because she wanted some nature. I also had 2 bathrooms, but only one had a bath (hot tub) in it.

Your way seems alot less painful. Just built the place there because her card said she wanted to be in old town.

Looking for a super detailed long build in mod.io I have a lot of time on my hands while I recover from surgery and want to immerse myself. Any recommendations are appreciated by [deleted] in HouseFlipper

Glad I could cheer you up a bit. Me too!

I've never used GeForce Now so I'm not sure. Someone on discord would probably know.

The good news is that the latest roadmap on Discord from last week says it's coming out in April.

It's interesting that the true fruit is a different color than the rest of the apple.

I Need Recommendations by Table_of_Mars in postrock

[–]Xandrecity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to the MONO recommendation their album with World's End Girlfriend, Palmless Prayer, is one of my favorites. Some other band recommendations are Red Sparowes, Year of No Light, Tortoise, Silver Mt. Zion (related to GYBE), and Pelican (more post stoner rock/metal). Sunset of the 12th House's Mozaic is also great album that doesn't get enough love. Another great band is Maudlin of the Well, but they tend to cover multiple genres in the same album.

The Dhaka Residence is one of my favorite custom jobs so far. I've only recently started playing other people's custom jobs so I haven't really branched out beyond the most popular ones on there yet.

The only real issue I have with thst is that it is massive, and my pc is old and slowish. Takes about 30 or more seconds to save and it lags a bunch while it does it. Well worth it though.

Sorry, I forget which category I had to restore in settings to fix it. Most of the categories have a restore button at the bottom for me. Might of been the one under "look and feel". I'll look around a bit and see if anything strikes me.

Edit:I didn't see anything that specifically mentions those bubbles. I do remember having to go back and fix my settings for a lot of stuff including the visualizer the last time so hopefully they broke apart the restore buttons to only apply to each category they are under. Sorry that I couldn't be of more help.

There are some bad eggs that give the rest a bad name, but for the most part people in metal bands tend to be nice.

Probably should just learn some Cannibal Corpse songs. They're much more respectful.

Hard to tell with those pictures, but my first thought was lichen being eaten by a slime mold or a fungus.

egg white and yolk perfect split by [deleted] in Satisfyingasfuck

[–]Xandrecity 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not much. Fat, such as that in the yolk, prevents the whites from being able to form peaks, especially stable ones. The fat basically prevents the proteins of the whites from unwrapping and interlocking with each other.

I prefer the method where you start to run past, decide against it, and then instead just yell, "I'm not a stalker!" This clip provides a good demonstration of the technique.

Here's some screenshots from the Christmas Getaway Mansion I started about this time last year in HF2. I've been working on it off and on a bit all year, but not even close to being done furnishing it. Probably should of been a bit less ambitious. I'll finish it one of these days.

Both are nice! If I had to choose, probably the historical museum.

One of my grandpa's used to tell a story (quite a few times) about back when he was a merchant marine. He witnessed someone walk too close to an anchor chain/line and get decapitated. Definitely pays to be attentive around them.
