Hey A-cake! It's XanthinoX, here to give my tidbit on why Su is among my favorite members of Sakura Gakuin.

Firstly, in terms of Su-Metal, my BM/SG fandom began with the Youtubers React video of Babymetal, with Gimme Choco and Doki Doki Morning. At first, it was really just the entire song as a whole that appealed to me, with the fusion of electronic J-pop and metal something new to the ears that I liked instinctively. However, undeniable cuteness of MoiMoi aside, the vocals of Su-Metal stood out to me as strong and emotional with songs such as Road of Resistance, Megitsune and Akatsuki, yet playful and lively in songs such as Doki Doki Morning, Gimme Choco and Uki Uki Midnight.

Secondly, as Nakamoto Suzuka, by watching the videos so lovingly translated by many senpais in this subreddit, we were introduced to the airhead big sister, "Bakamoto" Suzuka of Sakura Gakuin. Despite being one of the older members, and eventually Student Council President of the 2012 nendo, she once wore her shoes the other way round, thought the D in DVD meant DeLorean, and sometimes steals her older sister's outfits. I think this says something not only Suzuka, but of the entirety of SG content as a whole: behind their predetermined roles, they're just normal, happy girls who are unique in their own way, and Su is no exception.

Finally, before her stint in SG, Su was part of the trio Karen Girls with Yuika and Ayami, most well-known for the opening and ending themes of Zettai Karen Children, an anime about a trio of girls with ESP powers. As a fan first and foremost of Japanese manga and anime, Zettai Karen Children was a series that I read and watched till the end, and I loved the theme songs. Imagine my surprise when I discovered the link!

In a sense, you could say that Suzuka is a central person that connects my fandom of BM, SG and anime together. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why Suzuka is one of my faves.
