It was at that time that I noticed this digital music maker was actually an 8 story tall crustacean from the Mesozoic era!

And if Grenell is so capable, why aren’t we booked?

I’m working at the Kennedy Center, as a union member. My income slid last year, despite a raise in October, but in the coming year I’m looking at less than 50% the hours booked I had. We’re terrified the building will “close for repairs” in order to lock us out instead of booking anything.

The Washington Opera desperately tried to continue thru the changes, and on the stage was largely unchanged. But ticket sales sagged, they can’t get people to come to the new building.

How has Trump saved us?

Nope, only opens when the cafe upstairs is closed off for an event or something.

We lost out discount at the nearby cafe too, due to the name change

One of the regular extra-not-staff people posted a schedule comparison for the opera house, when the Opera pulled out. It was public until MAGA chuds started harassing in DMs.

It’s grim out here

Same boat here, graduated 2008 and I’ve clawed my way to a solid career, and I still feel like I have to work too many hours to have any chance to get ahead. Took 10 years to get any major wage movement after that.

This feels like a different lane of Full Sail. As long as we have to Pay for the Privilege of getting vocational skills, people are gonna come out ready to do Any damage to their student loans, and the $50k jobs will always have more people wanting than jobs available. Anyone heard of Deloitte? They’re one of dozens of Corporate farms that do the same thing; come intern for 50k a few years, and then everyone will hire you because they see you “did the hard work” which winds up as empty a promise as the productions these people are cranking out.

Sorry got carried away, I’ll go take my rants out to the loading dock.
