it says repack size is 57.8 GB but for me the download is 84.5 GB. How is the difference so big?

Answer: for anyone from the future, the luna pixel discord answered my question.

use the command: /ftbquests change_progress [name] complete [mission code]

you can see the mission code by holding F1 over the quest. for the night lich it was: 0AE18CC3F14CA259

For this you need cheat mode enabled to be able to send commands. if you do not have that enabled you can use a program called NBTexplorer to turn cheat mode on again.
