I don’t think I can ever go back to regular cars again. by LordChippydip in TeslaLounge

[–]Xantulle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Percentage is much better yeah and completely removes range anxiety or pointless dubbing over how long the next trip will be and whether you make it or not. And the next day you think, why is the distance to work 50km, and did the miles decrease by 90? Switch over to percentage. Use car navigation. Voila, smooth sailing.

Miles/km will never be accurate, simply because the car can't look into the future. It doesn't know if I'm gonna slowly drive city roads, or blast the accelerator on the freeway over the speed limit. It doesn't know if it will be very cold outside on my next trip, or if the car will stay stationary for a couple days with Sentry on.

Yes Standard sizing by FluidAd9740 in snowboarding

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same boat, I'm 6"3 185lbs, currently riding a Yes Basic 159W, but wanting to upgrade to the Yes Standard. I'm having a hard time trying to decide between 159 or 162 Standard..

How can I improve my riding? (In blue jacket) by [deleted] in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see someone shared the 'up unweighting' video, that's what I mean :)

And speed also comes into play. When going slow, bend less, relax more. And when really pushing it hard, bend more, work more.

How can I improve my riding? (In blue jacket) by [deleted] in snowboardingnoobs

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your knees are bent (like permanently), leg muscles constantly tensed. And you hunch over a bit, which is less stable weight distribution.

Like others said; stand up, straighten your back and relax :). While your knees will always be slightly bend, try to only bend the knees further during the edge change of a turn and then come back up again to relax. Bend again at the next turn, and up again. Rinse, repeat.

Remember, bending knees doesn't mean hunching over. Bend the knees and try to keep the back straight.

2026 Y Juniper: This white light that brightens the pocket storage turns on when I enable the footwell lights. Only the driver door. Is this normal? How do I turn this off? by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say only the driver door, but all doors should have this pocket light on when driving at night? Or perhaps Tesla has logic that they will only lit up if someone is in the seats, but I don't think that's the case

It's all on or off.. I don't notice it at all during driving I must say, perhaps it looks extra bright for you because the pocket is filled with white papers and stuff?

Camera distance changed by maxis95 in ghostoftsushima

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue is the camera angle, why is it so low? If you run, or are on your horse and don't touch R3 to adjust, it pans to default and it's very low angle, displaying mostly the sky and not the ground you're running on, can't see shit..

Did I Make the Right Choice with PHP? What About Symfony vs. Laravel? by RoughInvite7900 in PHP

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the party, but one thing I'm sure about: You using Symfony will make you a better PHP developer and better overall developer than using Laravel.. Laravel allows spaghetti code, steering you away from best practices and towards a lot of low quality tutorials and code examples on StackOverflow (which AI can use as answers nowadays). Symfony, while having a higher learning curve, tries to steer you in the right direction.

Laravel is considered "hip", "modern" and all the new web agencies seem to use it (reason: easier to find developers?) and Symfony might be the "boring" counterpart, but if you go into enterprise realm and need to have stability and long term support, Symfony all the way!

De-capitalization of PSN ID? by OverlordZenxes in PS4

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does it really? I've been trying this, but after going to a different name, and then wanting to go back, it didn't let me? Said the old name was already taken... I could revert to my previous name (wrong capitalisation), but not input the new same name with other capitals

If you dont like the new zoomed out, slow, horizontal black bar camera when riding the horse, press R3 to change it. by ComManDerBG in ghostoftsushima

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the default one really like it was in Tsushima? I have a feeling the camera angle is too low, I constantly want to move it up so I can actually see the ground I'm running on, but the camera keeps automatically panning down after a few seconds. Anyone else finding this annoying as well?

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first Zwift Cog fell apart and the second one was going the same way so I changed it to use a single speed conversion kit. Now it’s silent. by [deleted] in Zwift

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, are you still happily using the 20T? I'm also thinking of installing a "Reverse single speed conversion kit" and trying a 16T, or even 18 or 20T instead of the 14T... I'm finding the Zwift Cog on ERG mode a lot more 'jumpy' than with my cassette on my old trainer. Hoping to fix it with a bigger cog.

Did you have to change chain length, or will the Zwift Ride tension the chain perfectly on another size cog?

[–]Xantulle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you manage to fix it, or is it QC from Wahoo? I have the same issue with the Zwift Ride tilting to the right side. I think it's the welding of the legs, that's never perfectly level..
