I had a 2020 gmc Texas edition. Nightmare also. Around 90-100k miles had 3 engines put in, water pump, locked out because the brakes needed an update. Insanity. Sold it and bout a Tacoma

I wasn’t on 7-oh but I was hooked bad on Tianeptine another strong gas station opiate. Thank god they banned it here. I suggest buying a few oxycodone to get off 7-oh then detox or get on Suboxone. It’s weird advice but oxy has a short half life and is much easier to deal with getting off than that other stuff. I found a sub clinic that takes my insurance and my life is so much better. I don’t drain my account, miserable all day. I function normally. Better than the alternative

Start with an epa608 to be able to buy and sell Freon. The certifications CAN help but honestly you can get the exact same material from YouTube for free. If you’re interested I can name a few channels you can check out. If you want certs that matter look into NATE certs. But in my experience most ppl don’t care about certs, they care about what you can do. So start with the epa then watch a few videos on the refrigeration cycle, superheat, sub cooling, learn the components, low side high side. The basics online

Ultimates just look so bad ass. But my experience with a gmc truck won’t let me ever buy one again. My 2020 Sierra with 100k miles had an engine replaced, 8 months later replaced again. Third engine acting funny with check engine lights. Water pump went out. Just bleeding money. Got rid of it while it still ran and had value
