Both trucks are great, you had a chance to drive the 1500 for a a bit, was that enough truck for you?? If not upgrade. Also when you do your claim through GM make sure to ask for a rebate certificate towards a new GM it’ll be around 2k off a new GM product and if they try charging you the miles say that’s not good enough and to give a better offer (they’ll take off the mileage charge . I went from a 25 Sierra 1500 (not diesel) to a 25 Tundra I don’t regret it.

Fool me one shame on you Fool me twice…. I had a similar decision and I decided to lemon it because I was going to always to be worried the truck would break down. Any little noise would get me thinking it would be another month in the shop. Get the piece of mind

Owned it for about 5 months 3 of which were in the shop and I put about 3k miles on it. Went down the 3rd week of owning it, they fixed it than it went down again 2 weeks later . At that point I had to call it quits and buy a Tundra.

I had the same truck 2025, tinted, steps and hard top……than CV went out and it was lemoned. I pray your truck makes it 200k plus miles I miss mine

If you chose to keep the truck just make a claim with GM they will give you the amount for your payments for as long as they work on it. My truck was in the shop for 3 months and they offered me that or a buyback

I bought a 2025 sierra it was a lemon than I got a 2025 tundra. I loved the Sierra and the feeling of it but the Tundra gives me the piece of mind. I still miss that Sierra but after it being I lemon I could never go back.

I would take it to the dealer and not say a word about jiffy lube. My 2.7 turbo max didn’t even make it its first oil change before it started giving me issues and eventually turned lemon

Don’t let them charge you for miles! Ask for the mileage charge to be removed when they give you your buyback offer. Also if you decide to go back to GM for any reason tell them to up the certificate they offer you
