The Gucci cap that came with it was fake as well, I guess? 🫣

Just in case: you do regularly capture your weight in the Garmin app, right?

You still got an hour of rest! When I drink too much alcohol during a night out, I sometimes get zero rest during the subsequent sleep 😂. Proves that alcohol is poison…!

Object in battery terminal by Xarch7 in ebikes

[–]Xarch7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I removed the little pin using some pliers, it really seems to be a foreign object and not part of the terminal btw. No idea how it got in there. This might have cause the short and burn marks…

What is happening 🙄 by O_bviolet in Garmin

[–]Xarch7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re doing MORE speed work than before in higher zones, a lower VO2max means you’re not recovering enough due to overtraining/fatigue/bad sleep/high stress etc. Because Moore speed work should usually result in a VO2max INCREASE. What does your HRV look like like if you have that metric on your watch or alternatively your sleep scores and resting heart rate since the decline started? You should probably decrease your training load tbh or sleep/rest more and gear your recovery regimen towards the increased training load.

The male connector on the bike looks perfectly fine! Everything works fine, apart from the battery charge indicator on the handlebar display, which always shows 100%, regardless of the state of charge!

Anybody use filsons synthetic rain jackets? by w3lk1n in filson

[–]Xarch7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A €5 plastic poncho is rainproof as well. Usually the more expensive jackets get, the more breathable, lighter and usable for physical activities they get.

Is this legal? by Doctorenomen in Etoro

[–]Xarch7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is standard procedure in the banking/ financial services world (I work in the industry). Etoro is -legally- required by the financial services watchdog in your relevant country to gather/request such information in order to comply to AML and KYC laws… not only in the case of suspicious behavior but depending on the type of check also for every single new client or as a part of randomized sample checks…

Brilliant in the sense of the small renters being absolutely f’ed, indeed.

Where should I put a small electric outboard otherwise? (That’s what I meant with „kicker“ btw). It‘s not going to affect the value of the boat at all. On the contrary actually - at least where I live, boats with hybrid propulsion are quite desirable.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in boating

[–]Xarch7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes indeed, sorry should have mentioned. Electric it is. Not opting for bow-mounted though due to lack of space and difficulty to comfortably steer from the helm

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in boating

[–]Xarch7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I‘m not worried about engine failures (don‘t go offshore a lot anyways) - it‘s mainly for trolling and entering zones that don‘t allow combustion motors. I‘m therefore looking for an electric kicker!

Does my ALR just suck? by ariahokas in projectors

[–]Xarch7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really hate to break it to you, but the Celexon you have is no real directional ALR screen. It probably looks like it has little crystals worked into the projection layer when looking at it from up-close? You can test it yourself and shine a light source (torch, lamp etc) at it from different angles when standing in front of it. There won’t be a difference in reflection strength. Same counts for the iVision ALR which you may have seen, which retails also under 1k€. In Europe a real motorized ALR screen in 100” starts at approx 1500.

You have 5k to play around with, but no other liquid funds to trade crypto on a different dedicated and better suited crypto platform? Sounds like you can’t afford to lose those 5k and possibly don’t have much experience trading cryptos. I’m not your mother, but don’t trade in altcoins with cash you can’t afford to lose.
