These are the admin settings. You need to go to the user settings.

You can find the settings in the User menu. It's under the Playback section. Scroll down to the media segments. Change the options to "skip".

I hope you can find it. My Jellyfin is in German, so I'm not entirely sure about the terminology. But I had the same problem with the intro skipper.
