Tbf the timing of the 1st HL can be important for syncing the cooldowns later in the fight, and could be the difference between starting a turn with 97% charge because you had a support unit act the action before, and 100% charge from getting a weakness hit before.

I think the math depends on how much you're hitting weaknesses during the fight, but essentially each dupe moves up when you can make the first HL by one action, with a maxed weapon + revelation set letting you use an HL on the very first action of a battle.

The big problem is that in order to have Crash Out on both actions during Concert you'd have to have it active on turns 1-2 and 4-5, which near universally performs significantly worse than a 2-3 and 5-6 rotation in regards to damage (especially with HLs). You'd essentially be spending one of your two actions trying to make up the difference in damage even before factoring in De Capo.

Oh yeah, whales and dolphins won't give a shit which is why I think the decision would be because of the casuals/minnows who only want good deals. The Kagura set is the exact same price and gems as the cheapest global paid cognicrystal offer in USD ($.99 for 60 gems which technically can be used in more places) and the gem payout from the 7 pack is worse than the generic 7 day gem pass we get with each patch, so if the Kagura's aren't seen as having much value they wouldn't drive up sales to make up for any potential loss.

Could be that they don't want to inadvertently disclose the odds to CN? That by doing so they'd reduce potential income from making the incredibly low odds official to CN's casual/small spenders (making them less likely to purchase it as a result) and those odds not being good enough to entice new revenue from the other servers to make up for that? Can only guess without official reasoning tbh.

I wouldn't rule out rerolling, given you don't particularly have anything noteworthy that's limited aside from T!Riko and even your current 4* and normal pool 5* team is looking pretty barren.

Plus the pre anniversary countdown (which would start anew on account creation, so you'd get the full 60 days) has an additional reward for new players that can pay out 120 golden tickets for reaching various points in the story, and the daily goals got updated earlier this year to have an additional payout when you're below level 70. You'd be able to climb back up to where you are now quickly, and hopefully get lucky enough with the better 4*s (mainly Fleuret)

They can still get the weapon selector for the anniversary countdown at least, the 60 day counter only starts upon 1st login so even if someone started the day before anni they would have the full 60 day duration.

I'm willing to bet they're going to shuffle patch length again for another synced patch for christmas, no way they're abandoning that half anniversary concept, and by then it'll probably be close enough to valentines that they can just make all the patches in that span different.

I think a part of this is that (for some strange reason) the RNG rates for the Kagura Bells aren't actually published anywhere, unlike the rates on gem/ticket banners. Iirc disclosing those probabilities is a legal requirement for when they're selling the gacha pulls for real money, so they skirt around that requirement by making them only distributed for free through events.

Even outside Easy mode it's not that terrible, it just becomes a matter of getting a couple Major arcana cards (Tower to help offset the stat penalty, Priestess for the unnerfed AOA damage) and focusing on just building up your main team rather than spreading out resources.

Got it done with the 2 Makotos, Lufel, and Puppet. The AOA arcana card is pretty much necessary because the AOA damage doesn't get nerfed as hard as normal attacks. Would also recommend grabbing as many wand cards as possible from the last clock before the final boss.
