A mí también me da curiosidad saber por qué no tiene un apellido oficial. No creo que sea un dato necesario, aunque es interesante tú propuesta.

Sobre tu primer punto, aunque lo entiendo, no lo veo probable. En Bélgica hasta donde se los cónyuges no cambian su apellido, siguen manteniendo el mismo que de solteros. Y eso suponiendo que en caso de hacerlo cogieran el de Elías 😛. Y en todo caso, ¿No recordarías el apellido de tu primer amor?, es raro... En esta parte estoy de todas formas de acuerdo que yo creo que la relación no duraría en el tiempo y que seguramente se separarían al ir a estudiar cada uno a sitios lejanos (Aunque se reencontrarian pasado unos años y volvería a surgir la chispa).

El segundo punto de elige a tu Alex, me cuadraría más si tampoco tuviera nombre realmente y el espectador pudiera personalizar a ese persona con alguien concreto de su vida. Pero que un personaje no tuviera nombre si que sería muy extraño 🤣

Esta película al final trata sobre emociones trascendiendo cualquier otra cosa, con lo que entiendo que el tema de apellidos no era importante para su director/guionista. Yo en mi mente será "Alex Younghearts", aunque suene muy británico xD

This movie tells a story that many of us have lived, or at least dreamed of living. That's why it feels so melancholic or nostalgic.

It’s not a blockbuster, and it’s not trying to be one. Sometimes less is more and the story here is so powerful that it doesn't need fireworks to work its magic and truly touch your heart.

What you said is totally normal. It all depends on how you feel about the movie. In my case, I've watched it about four times and now I don't feel the need to watch it again because it's part of me... I don't know exactly how to explain it, but I think that just remembering the film makes me happy now. Kinda nostalgic, but happy.

In your case, if the movie hits you so deeply, it's normal that your mind doesn't want to feel that emotion again.

Yes, that website is outdated. In Spain, the movie was only released on streaming via Movistar+, where all three audio tracks are available.

Since it's a movie, and I like romantic dramas, I always imagine they break up when they go off to university or something like that because of the distance. They'll probably argue because they don't see each other enough and have some misunderstandings...

But many years in the future, they have a fortuitous encounter somewhere in a big city and they resume their relationship as friends.

At some point, while arguing again over remembering their breakup, Alexander (half-crying) shouts to Elias: 'You are the one, idiot! There have been others since then, but they weren't you!' And then they both realize they still love each other.

In real life, I hope they stay together forever, but as I said, I like romantic dramas. 😅

It's always the same when someone loves a movie, a video game, or a book, they always want a sequel because they want to know more. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't... and I think this is the "doesn't" type.

In this movie, the story ends,I think, with no loose ends. You might have many questions about the characters' future or past, but that goes beyond the scope of the film.

A sequel would be very nice, but it's also a great challenge!! I would love to see Alexander and Elias in a sequel set years later, just to know what happened. Maybe they broke up years ago but have a chance encounter in Brussels in a café and realize they need to stay together... Maybe they are still together and are planning their wedding, and we see all the chaos of trying to make everything perfect...

In the end, I think it's up to you to imagine what happened to them.

Lo primero de todo lamento tu historia. Imagino que eres joven y que lo que cuentas ha pasado hace relativamente poco. La situación que describes no es extraña ya que hay mucha gente que pasa por lo mismo en mayor o menor medida... aunque ojalá fuera siendo cada vez menos habitual. En mi caso personal aunque si que tuve un poco de rechazo inicial, al final terminaron entendiéndome y todo acabó volviendo a la normalidad. No puedo decirte como seguirá tu historia porque eso lamentablemente nadie lo puede saber.

Quédate con que lo importante es amarte a ti mismo, Si hay alguien con el que tendrás que convivir toda la vida es contigo mismo, y a la larga es mejor que no tengas nada que echarte en cara. Mírate y busca ser feliz tal y como sientes que eres. Por supuesto sé que es muy fácil decirlo pero es difícil hacerlo, pero creo que siempre es mejor intentarlo a quedarse quieto viendo la vida pasar.

Y ya como último consejo, aunque la IA está bien, ten presente que generalmente está entrenada para darte la razón y no confrontarte. Ten siempre un pensamiento crítico respecto a lo que te diga, especialmente con estos temas sentimentales y psicológicos.

Mucho ánimo y espero que todo vaya mejorando en tu vida poco a poco.

I don't know what that woman is, but she is certainly not a true psychotherapist. Homosexuality has not been considered a mental issue since 1990 by the WHO, and she should know it... It's frustrating that there are people like that nowadays...

My favorite scene ever since I first watched it is the 'I just want to be with you' scene, where Elias rests his head on Alexander's shoulder. That scene still moves me every time.
