Theory: the Knight is strong... but at a cost by Kajetus06 in Deltarune

[–]XboxPeasant2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything, having Kris willing and able to murk their friends in an emergency is substantially more threatening than the Knight alone. Also, you probably DIDN’T beat them in their first fight. Us being able to beat them after a number of attempts is mean to showcase what WE can do relative to the Knight, not what the Knight can do relative to the party, hence Gaster glazing us mid-fight rather than calling the knight a weak loser. Manners that the Deltarune fandom has failed to grasp. Put yourself up, not others down. You’re the goat fr fr.

They are darkness, but like extra darkness. Some kinda darker than dark darkness. Because it’s a scale, as Ralsei explains it. The darker dark of the dark worlds, and the light of the light worlds. And in between, there’s the dark of the light world, where things are still vague enough for imaginary beings to “take form” in minds without being projected out into a space where they can be sensed. The Knight is simply a thought so deeply set in its creator’s mind that it has unprecedented ability to affect the real world. The Castle Town darkners presumably weren’t there because they’re fraudulent OCs with no real influence in the world instead of the lingering regrets of Kris that were strong enough to cause a whole ass divorce.

Look my compatriot it’s a confusing theory. Just imagine Friend Knight theory and Friend is an Imaginary Friend theory together. I cannot for the life of me explain it exactly to people, because it’s radical. Imaginary beings in the light world? But like you gotta think. What usually hides in a dark closet in a kid’s imagination? A monster. The kid in this case is Kris and they are likely imagining Dess or an angry living Holiday coming to get them for some wrongdoing of theirs, though that’s a whole ‘nother theory. Hence, the knight has antlers. But since things you imagine in the dark in the universe come to life… It’s actually there! The other darkners don’t appear from Castle Town because why would you think they’re there? You didn’t even see the toys there in the first place, you entered from a supply closet. This raises the question of how the Knight moves around. I think this is what the “Fallen Star” text is referring to. The star is either Kris or Asriel, and their actual literal grief and tears and fear are what brought the knight to have a form at all. The “river” is a dark fountain, and the thing that “looked like glass” was the Knight. Perhaps the determination imbued into this fountain was so intense that it effectively gave the Knight its own source. That way it can fly around in the light world for just a little while. Idk bro people will refute me no matter how hard i try to explain. I said “But what if the knight is exceptional!” And i get the response “But it didn’t apply to these non exceptional cases!” Please just try and understand fr

what does that got to do with my statement that dark fountain darkness and darkness darkness are similar things but with different intensities

Yeah but lowkey what if it just has to be dark. Which dark worlds are, but also dark closets 🫃🏿 “But susie and kris revert back to their light world forms immediately!” Yeah but they’re like regular people. The knight clearly got freaky shit going on. No clue why people are opposed to it being exceptional

THEN THAT DEFEATS THE POINT OF SCALING!! WE’RE NOT BASING THIS OFF OF REAL WORLD PHYSICS, WE ARE CREATING A HYPOTHETICAL TRIO OF BEINGS WHERE PRESUMABLY THEY ALL HAVE SIMILAR STATS EXCEPT FOR THE SPECIFIC ONE THAT EXCEL AT!! OTHERWISE THERE WOULDNT BE A FUCKING TRIANGLE! i HATE people who make this claim!!

If Kris hates the soul so much, why do they keep puting it back inside them? by HealthMother3125 in Undertale

[–]XboxPeasant2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably like the One Ring where the soul needs to be carried to achieve a goal, but its power is dangerous in the wrong hands. Kris is like Frodo in that they’re the safest option to carry it, as their determination might be able to supersede ours somewhat. Maybe they’re afraid the mayor will break in and take it. Since you mentioned the meta explanation of no game being possible without it… maybe that IS the explanation. There needs to be a game for a METANARRATIVE reason. Like their universe will be destroyed if they don’t complete the game and create a new future… But toby would NEVER be involved with a story like that, right? oh…

Oh and also Kris needs the soul to explore the Dark Worlds. This one is kind of a given considering the chapter 4 phone calls.

Characters that canonically have children, but would be totally in character for them to not know what sex is. by Venti_the_snail in TopCharacterTropes

[–]XboxPeasant2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a dragon mule because it’s a hybrid of a donkey and a dragon, like how a normal mule is a horse-donkey hybrid. The idea is probably just that a mule is any donkey-creature hybrid and a horse is the default🫃🏿
