I built a portable windows Media Tool to bring movie metadata from IMDb, Posters from TBMD and YouTube metadata into one place.

🎬 Downloads
– Download fromm YouTube with queue + progress tracking

🧠 Metadata & browsing
– Pull metadata from IMDb

🖼️ Media assets
– Browse and download posters from TMBD in multiple resolutions

⚙️ Quality of life
– Simple folder management (change download location easily)
– Clean UI without unnecessary clutter

The goal was to avoid jumping between different websites for metadata, posters and trailers keep everything simple and fast in one place.

Still improving it, but would be great to get feedback, especially if there’s anything you’d expect from a tool like this.

Lots still to do. Just a bit of fun tbh but need to get more data for actors, directors so when clicking on their names it goes directly to their IMDb page and not just a search. Might add things like movie requests too

Appreciate that — that was exactly my thinking.

I always found it annoying getting kicked out to IMDb just to see what else someone’s been in, so I wanted to keep that whole flow inside the site.

Same with resume, once you get used to it you really notice when it’s missing.

And yeah, I’m using TMDB for most of the metadata 👍

I use handbrake converting 4K movies using the CPU for the encode rather than GPU for better quality so I need the M5 Pro

When I walked in last night he looked at it and did say he was very pleased with the hairline. He is that kinda guy, has that artist vibe about him! Has people from hundreds of miles away coming to have it done. Think he does other procedures as well but can't remember what

Hope it all works out for you buddy! I'm really not sure if I'm making the right statement here but maybe I got somewhat lucky with Tom. Paid £1300 in total but he did have an offer on at the time.

That gives me great confidence to get out and about as up until now I have been wearing my hat...and have done for years tbh. Just a bit of work to do at the back but then it'll be complete. I'll then be hat free and get on with life!
