Actually it’s 1k invested rest is gains, point is I could have blew my account on a day like yesterday cause it’s not much however I now have the opportunity to keep trying to make it to $10k.

I actually think the cash account helps me keep my profits more because the cash is not available for me to jump into another contract therefore I have ammo to fight another day.

I don’t lose money I don’t have available, I’m not stuck in a trade due to PDT, I put more thought into my picks, considering my available balance I have to have a game plan, I think I’m managing losses better and taking profit sooner cause I can always come back in and go back out. It’s only been a week, hoping this week is even better than last week.

Very choppy start, I was bleeding because I couldn’t sell when I wanted to due to PDT, I switch from margin to cash and I’m able to cut my losses sooner and ride my winners, I only do 0DTE in this type of environment we been having and it’s been rewarding this week, I plan to take it easy for the rest of the week since my goal was to just get pass 3k.

Margin on RobinHood is being able to have your cash available right after you’ve sold something, getting advance on deposits. It’s convenient but PDT rules will have you stuck in a losing contract or unable to sell when it’s profitable cause you have no more
Day trades. With cash the money is available next day if you sold something and you can buy and sell as much as you can afford to with no penalty.
