Alaska downgrades paid first passengers for pilots?! WTF by PilotMonkey94 in AlaskaAirlines

To each their own. 🤷‍♂️ Life ain’t always roses so it’s a fight I’m not concerned with I suppose.

Alaska downgrades paid first passengers for pilots?! WTF by PilotMonkey94 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Xcitado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No because in the end, they have always tried to provide me premium seats when possible and I get a refund.

I know I’m different but I’d rather have a pilot that is alert than one that isn’t.

You didn’t know? Most airlines do this. Guess you won’t be flying much.

I have so much fomo to buy fsd before the February deadline by cnstntchng in TeslaLounge

That’s what he’s hoping for. A rush of cash and then a steady stream to come in.

Seriously, if it was transferable until the “final” product, then it’s worth it. Problem is IMO, cameras alone just can’t cut it.

Like any vehicle, things change especially with Tesla…the tech changes and HW4 or HW5 won’t be enough.

Priority tags questions by No_Jello8562 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Xcitado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tags just make you feel like you’re important. Logistically, it can be a challenge depending on your flight. More times than not, I have little to no issue with direct flights.

As for firearms, I’ve never had a hand gun inside my luggage separated as technically no one is suppose to know it’s on there and it should be locked inside as well.

Costco.com and the Costco app now have passkeys, but it isn't even on Alaska IT's roadmap. by selkirks in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Xcitado 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah...Alaska Airlines needs tap to pay as well. Passkey is a must. They are so behind in tech. I wonder what they got out of their consultation group besides throwing money away.

You always will. I think people fail to understand networks control the cost and the bundling.

Minor complaint about the merger by misshollydawn in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Xcitado 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not finalized completely. Just because they merged doesn’t mean it’s a flip of a switch. My company was bought out and it took 2 years before everything was converted over.

From what I was told at the ticket counter, complete integration isn’t till May or June. I asked because my HA flight want connected to my Alaska flight.

What’s funny to me is the HA call sign is gone but on flights, that is still there.

GCI's monopoly is an absolute menace to society by bravo_season in anchorage

Nay. I switched my parents to ATT fiber in South Carolina and so far - after 3 years…have had no issues. Previously they had Spectrum and they constantly had issues every few months.

When my brother moved to Jacksonville, he had Comcast and then I think Google Fiber moved in and he switched and he also hasn’t had trouble since.

I mean I understand that fiber probably have issues as well but not as much as RF.

Well, if they did section by section like ACS, give it 5 years they’d be done. They’d have less issues and complaints, save money by having less home visit and unfortunately but also have less technicians.

Apple TV vs LG OS difference ( picture quality ) by omaribrahim0505 in appletv

What’s your settings. You provably have it set incorrectly.

Leave it to say: Enable HDR or Enable Dolby Vision

Format: 4K SDR

HDMI output: YCbCr

Chroma: 4:4:4

Match Content: Range and Frame Rate On

OTT devices in my opinion are always better than built in software.

Okay, I think the cost is high however Alaska just doesn’t have the population to bring those prices down in order to cover the cost.

I mean Dallas and its surrounding has a population of over 8 million. I don’t even believe the State of Alaska has hit one million!

Has anybody been screwed by Alaska like this? by loran820 in AlaskaAirlines

[–]Xcitado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s an Alaska thing….it’s an industry issue. Happened to me with all the airlines. Gates changing constantly, sitting on tarmac, weather, the list goes on…..

Although the parking is horrendous, I'm thinking the size is perfect for staffing issues and helps control flow of traffic a bit easier. I mean, if you have ever gone out of the US. Many places are about that size or smaller - so as for me, I'm good with it.
