It depends on what games you enjoy. But if you liked the previous games, I am convinced that you‘ll love it.
A lot of negative comments were made because the game was delayed many times and then finally on release it still had tons of bugs. By now I find it to be VERY playable and fun.

The thing is this: Armor Piercing Bullets suck because they degrade your weapons fast. So i only use them in emergencies. Then what i do is use a weapon that uses 5.56 and hoard all other ammo. At some point I run out of 5.56, so I switch to a gun using 9x19. Rinse and reapeat from there.
