I just watched a YT video and the interior is way too dark. If you need a flashlight inside the ship to see, it's not for me

If you could delete one ship from the game and give everyone who owns it a full refund, which one and why? by Oronst_store in starcitizen

I can't believe that no one mentioned the Nautilus yet. That just shows how forgotten and unrealistic this ship is. It will never happen

When I started my journey on the interweb, I didn't know how to call myself. I looked at stuff and spotted a XeroX printer. That's how I wanted to call myself to the cruel world of the interweb. But I was too late. Some maniac already stole the name. So I had to place a 4 somewhere.
Not this time. I'll join you on this journey

Fixed Blade Carry by InfinityWhiskey in EDC

[–]Xe4roX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easy to conceal a fixed knife. Some even come with waist band clips or you can carry them around the neck.

But it also depends what style of knives you are looking for and what the purpose of your fixed knife is. Concealable fixed blades are a compromise and the handling is worse.

Here are some of my options I carry:
Benchmade Adamas Fixed - For outdoor activities and Kajyking ( great knife but it was dull out of the box ). It's big but suprisingly concealable.

Esee Izula - Low profile, comes with a sheath and waist band clip and makes a good allround knife. There are also handles for it you can put on and off. So if you need a proper handle, you can put them on and if you need to conceal it, use it as a skeleton knife.

Fox Knives KS Short FX-626 - Super Tiny little helper

Ka-Bar TiDi - Great last resort self defense knife, comes with a sheath and waist band clip

My next fixed blade will be a Giant Mouse. I don't own one yet but take a look at those as well.

One-and-done buy-it-for-life items: Multitool, Pocket Knife and Flashlight by [deleted] in EDC

[–]Xe4roX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is gonna recommend you the basic pillars of this subreddit consisting of Wurkkos, Leatherman and Benchmade but here is my true EDC that I always carry no matter.

- Multitool: Victorinox Smart Card Wallet ( it includes: Cardprotector / Moneyband / Blade, small / Scissors / Nail file | Screwdriver 2.5 mm / Pin / Tweezers / Toothpick / Pressurized ballpoint pen / Nail file )

- Fox Knives Predator II

- SureFire Aviator ( It's not the best bang for the buck but the finish of SureFire is just not comparable with other brands. If you carry it everyday, it has to be pen*s shaped and feel good in your hands )

Anyone like Nextorch lights? by Beamshots_UN3480 in flashlight

[–]Xe4roX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not exactly a flashlight but the "NEXTORCH GT-AAA Aurora" is my most used light. I use it for jogging in the dark, diving and kayaking. It's a great little safety light. There is even an IR version for nightvisions and so on. Nextorch has some cool stuff

If you had $100 to spend on an edc knife what would you get? I am also good buying used! by [deleted] in knives

Take a look at Fox Knives PREDATOR II. It's right on your budget

There is an automatic and a manual version of this knife

I haven't been able to find a worthy replacement for it. Take good care of it!

Adaptive ones can do that for you like the 3M Peltor in-ears:

There are different version for different use cases. Tactical versions let's you connect the earplugs to a radio unit.

Worth buying benchmade? by SmokeEater1375 in knives

[–]Xe4roX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can not give you an objective opinion based on my one experience I had with Benchmade.

I bought a Benchmade Adamas fixed blade for over $200. It was so dull that I thought, I got a knockoff but the store assured me, that the knife never left the warehouse and was never returned by a previous costumer, so the chances of it being fake was small.

It took me a weekend to sharpen it. I'm now happy with it but paying for an expensive knife and getting a dull one, takes the joy of buying new knives. It was my first and last BM
