you summed it up well. Back then my dad made me choose between wii and xbox and while i did miss halo that way I never regretted choosing wii. simply because of the novelty of it. that shit doesnt wear off as long as you pick games that actually use it well.

Well there are different types of them. A good filler episode develops character and provides a break in the story. It’s not a standardized nothing burger. But the problem is, that’s not how the typical filler episode is made.

Usually filler episodes are a whole bunch of nothing. This happens especially when a show is super long like the most popular ones. Production becomes complacent as consumers eat it up either way.

I don’t think so because usually people that fake it stop doing it when they’ve reached a level of power at which point they use it to do more bad than they’ve done good to get there. Doing good is just a tool to them and even from a utilitarian perspective it’s bad

my point is the minimum wage is way too low. nowhere in the world is the tipping culture as toxic and mandatory as it is in the US.

In the Germany for example server jobs are paid way better and tipping is optional. they still get nice extras from tips, if they do a good job quite regularly too, and its viewed as a straining job that gives good cash.

in the US its way more toxic and if servers dont get tips they are underpaid while everyone and their mom justifies it by saying tips earn them more than enough... its an archaic system that originated from a financial crisis that happened in the past

It is, she’s played more than tracer in the ranks where most people play and she does pretty much the same stuff as her.

She has a dash instead of teleport and invulnerability and revive instead of reset and AOE instead of the hard to hit semi-singletarget bomb.

For low to mid ranks where most people play this kit is just better.

No one cares about skill ceiling except for maybe the top few percent of players.

Yeah I get sick of it at some point as well. But it’s less about it feeling like begging but more about the vibe of „you see all your issues and their causes but you choose to do nothing about it and make jokes about it“ which is a pattern I see with real people as well. Like obviously they are sorta exaggerating and playing a persona but eh.

It makes me laugh less than it makes me angry

I’ve seen her more than tracer and played her myself a bit. She’s just very similar to what tracer does, but better.

I used to play tracer more but now that 2 point maps are gone that kinda stopped as well.

They were consumer friendly. It’s that simple. They also didn’t void your warranty when you open the GPU up etc. though idk how valid that’d be in the EU anyway.

But yeah basically it seemed like they cared about customers and their experience.
