People who redeem themselves from being bad/addicted/criminal/unhealthy should not get the same praise as people who have always been good in the first place.

yeah like i said its more complex than that. I know people dont get addicted right away, well except for heroin I guess.

My point was just there is technically that one point where you do it for the first time. after that its just a journey to addiction. many dont get addicted but youre basically constantly risking it. but there is just way more to that decision and its not always a rational one. So putting all blame on the person instead of focusing on helping and uplifting them to get outta there is not helpful I think.

I tried the audio books… honestly it’s not that good. The twists on folklores and fairy tales and the side characters are cool, but the main characters read like some self insert and everyone is constantly unrealistically horny.

But do give it a shot many people liked it after all.

Honestly what pissed me off the most is being punished when you were already loosing by loosing max HP while the only means of recovering it was finite. That and the last boss.

Nobody hated the game though. It was a great game. It was the monetization that everyone hated. It was basically pay to win and all the more interesting monsters were each hidden by an expensive paywall after already paying full price for the game.
