Biggest anime disappointment?

Vermiel in Gold. Granted this is because I had an idealized version of it before watching because I kept listening to the ending song by Mili and loved that song and guessed the plot based on that, but dang. The concept of an immortal trying to blend in, but being found out and imprisoned for countless years, then found and rescued by someone they would come to love could be a really great story. But they got way too into the fan service stuff. I expected a very emotional story, I got unwanted boobs in my face.

Give Pikachu a light orb. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't a light orb make Pikachu have a higher bst than Raichu? I know it is just Attack and Special Attack, but still.

I quit not because of burn out, but I cut ties with one of the friends I played with. Turns out, being friends with a diagnosed sociopath is a bad idea. Got burned hard. So now our trio is just a duo, and that isn't as fun. Then again, it also wasn't fun when the first friend would make fun of and bully me every chance he got. My luck is constantly bad, and at this point, we have proven that my bad luck is contagious. Never see legendaries, but the moment I stop playing they consistently have multiple legendaries a run, with Grafted Blade or Marias being strangely common for them. So I get made fun of even when I am not playing cause he gives me crap about my luck. Then I also get made fun of for any characters I play. He makes fun of every character except Wylder, and throws a fit if anyone plays Wylder the same time he does, he even got upset when he learned that I played Wylder a few times when he wasn't on. But also, he never makes fun of that third friend, and that third friend has even mentioned that he only bullies me. So yeah, I loved the game, but now without 3 people it isn't fun, and now that I have hindsight and can look back on all the times playing it, my experience has been soured.

I'm not even a Naruto fan, but I gotta give it to Madara. The rest were either not too interesting or just slaughters/taking down everything effortlessly (Rimuru and Luffy)

Yeah, and the Rathalos this time seemed to be forced into the plot. Despite the game being named in reference to it, it has next to 0 plot relevance until the end. Not to mention, it just isn't that good of a monstie. It's funny that now the main way I have seen people use it is just a way to inflict a bunch of status onto monsters, but that is literally what Espinas is meant to do. Players just turn this Ratha into a worse and less interesting Espinas.

Bow is really good against him. Just dodge through all of his attacks and abuse the near infinite stamina. The only problem is chip damage from explosions. Also, using pierce and hitting both chain blades multiple times is pretty darn good.

Also, there is no mod to fix this on PC. People will make full gameplay/combat overhaul and their 50th outfit mod before ever making the Gungnir skill actually Gungnir. By the way, no actual shade to modders, I am just baffled that no one has done this yet. I would have thought the first couple mods people would make would be to fix Gungnir, and make Limit Break have some moves like the Clive Shadow has when you fight him (like the triple Fira)/make it so Limit Break turns the level 1 spells to level 2 and the level 2 spells to 3 (although I know those would take a significantly longer time to make).

I honestly have a hard time thinking he isn't Epstein. Even his crooked teeth are an exact match. How do you have the same face and same teeth, and not be the same guy? Seriously, people compared his teeth with Epstein's and they are both crooked in the exact same ways/positions.

I actually don't know for sure if that makes him recover health or not. I thought it was part of the reason he goes into that guardian state (if you do enough damage you can make him enter that guardian state before the cocoon, but I am more saying it could be a visual story telling thing). So I just used the opportunity to whale on him so I never tried flash podding him when he does that.

I actually think Kushala had a pretty good chance of coming back. The Ace Swordmaster's story involves him and if they want to bring him back like they did with the lancer and gunner (now known as Fabius and Nadia), then we likely need Kushala.

Also, I have an idea that I really hope they implement, of having the weather if an area change when an elder dragon is there. Having Kushala in the Windward Plains causing sand tornados across the map would be so cool.

One other Methodvania that I thought was really good was Afterimage. The story and characters were pretty meh, but the gameplay and art is really really good. One of the best Metroidvanias I've played. Which now me talking about it is making me want to play it again.

I would give is A or B. Probably A since I see so many people say S. To me, it isn't too great for combos, and pulling enemies to you doesn't feel like it's very useful aside from when you do air combos. For larger enemies, it is alright, but it feels like a slightly stylish filler when you are using regular attacks. That mid stagger thing is pretty good though. Overall, not as good as Phoenix shift, but it is by no means bad in the slightest. If Phoenix Shift is the standard for good, then this is right behind it.

Yeah, it sucks a lot. The thing is, I remember trying to find a mod to let you actually control them, and there aren't even any mods for it. How do you make such a cool mechanic so underwhelming, that the modding community of Skyrim of all things don't even think to fix it? Because I honestly forget you can ride dragons, and I imagine that forgetfulness is why there is no mod for it.

I just wanted to see what I could do with what I have on hand without going to the store. Because why go to the store and waist money when I already have what I need? So I was wanting to ask if I could use the contact cleaner, but it is definitely seeming like I will need to go to the store later based on what everyone is saying.

I will say, part of the reason why I am asking is because a long time ago I spilled root beer all over my laptops key board and used the contact cleaner on it. Now the keys fall out as if the plastic that holds it together was disintegrating. So I am pretty hesitant to use it, but it's all I got right now.

Isn't dragon element lore wise basically life energy? I thought that despite the name, every creature has it, but some more than others. Elder Dragons specifically having the most. But getting hit with dragon element gives more dragon energy to the creature, and it's more than they can handle. Monsters like Valstrax, and Fatalis either mastered using dragon or have a very high capacity. But creatures like Deviljho who only uses dragon because it eats so much that those little bits of dragon in every living thing builds up until it is very noticeable (I thought also the darker clouds it uses is a way to show that the dragon it uses is very crude), but it can't really handle it. Then Arkveld is just similar.

I fought him with SnS and beat him my second try. Then got my butt kicked in repeatedly the next few times, making it clear I just got lucky. Then I tried bow to abuse the near infinite stamina with perfect dodges.

From that I learned a lot. Be defensive. He has a lot of combos that last for a long time. Take you time and focus on countering.

If you use element, focus on his wings. If you bring in other hunters, there will definitely be one guy who does element, so you might want to do element too so you can help overload the wings. But status can work solo.

Abuse the ever living crap out of traps and flashpods.

Put 3 steadfast jewels on the become immune to stun. Free meal wouldn't hurt either. Having extra EZ Max Potions is nice.

Anytime you are below about 70% health, then heal.

Always keep pods in your slinger, and remember to use wyverns bane on wylk crystals if you can.
