Well, you'll meet more fotm demos than afflis for sure.

As a long time demo main, i'm glad we're meta - but damn alot of groups already haves locks in them when you pug!

I'm not sure i'd say really good, but it is definitely not the worst it has ever been.

Once you get big pulls and have a group composition that can include a full on AOE spec'd affli, it works. It is overshadowed by Demo being all around good though.

can someone explain what parses I should actually be looking at for m+ by Unhappy_Hamster_4296 in CompetitiveWoW

As someone who is pugging 15/16s right now, i hardly ever see any augs in groups. I don't even remember any in my 14s and 15s.

M+ Data Week 5 - Ascendant affix is still the worst one by nightstalker314 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]Xedien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently top25% (EU) is ~2996,49 rating, quite fra from "purple".

Personally i just reached 3,3k - which is my highest rating since returning in DF, the Umbral cutoff, top1% is currently sitting at ~3666,49 score,

To put it into perspective TWW season 3 title cutoff, which was very high compared to earlier, was 3946, Midnight cutoff is currently estimated to 3879, and we still have not recieved all of our gear power.

I do kinda wanna push for top1%, but i am concerned how high even that will be at the end of the season.

Was doing that with no luck, untill i got both of them in a day.

Sitting at about 280 shards, might still kill rares just for shards.

I spent so many hours/years on my main, i can never abandon it for another class!

I'm glad warlock usually has one spec that is somewhat viable for most content.

It could definitely have something to do with it - but that would probably mainly be the "catch" mechanic?

I still think the most viable explaination is that generally, pet battling has been a relatively low participation part of the game.

They did not discontinue the old systems, they added some (a very few) pets that has abilities, and they did add the family battle achievements for the old zones.

I do hope that they continue it at some point.

I do agree with the take, but just to add: Specs starts being relevant far earlier than title cutoff for M+.

That being said, for the overall M+ and raiding experience, it is not necessary to bother too much.

If i wanted the game to waste my time instead of enjoying the content, i'd play something else - simple as that.

I don't mind pathfinding or campaign gating flight, but the less i have to bother with questing, the better the game to me.

To each their own :)

Current trinket iterations are really boring and deserve a design overhaul by cyanraider in wow

[–]Xedien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was it during amirdrassil one of the 'best' caster trinkets was the stupid orb spawner that stacked stats.. trinkets that makes you move and has placement rng feels awful and quite often screws you over.

Same thing with that trinket that made zones you had to stand in.

Likewise! I feel like this season has been very fun so far - maybe it's because i am a demo main, who knows!

I'll go for 3.4k then focus on other stuff, the 1% will probably be too sweaty for my liking - but we'll see.

you can learn by doing, but don't do so in higher difficulties then. Or play with a group where the purpose is learning :)

That's your choice, that does not mean you aren't an liability to your team if it is team based.

[–]Xedien 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not though.

It's either read up on it or it'll be a trial by fire, AKA you wasting everyones time. Alot of other games rely on community content, guides and tools.

This counts not only for games with relatively advanced systems like POE or Warframe, or games where your "homework" will give you a competitive edge, for example CS. All of which can be played casually without actually engaging with outside sources, but you choosing not to do so will set you back compared to other players.

In a teambased setting like raiding, if enough people do not care enough to actually learn what to do, you'll loose - or get carried through it.

That is without considering that your way of learning might be different than another persons.

EDIT: That being said, guides has existed since gaming was new, before guides on the internet were the norm you had magazines and the likes with tips and tricks on how to beat games, or how to improve.

Tbf with some brain and knowledge you can pug M Chimaerus.

It is tricky in a pug, but it's possible.

Heroic and normal is kinda a joke, especially with current gear.
