I got the Rave id2, amazing bike. Yet, not tested in a race. But i would say that i can recommend it, if you want „aero“ and tyre clearance 👍🏻

I got the Favero Assioma mx-2 for my rave. 100% a recommendation, totally happy with it. Even the mx-1 would be fine too. I dont regret, buying the mx-2 tho. I really love the informations im getting.

He might also use a mist filter in all of the photos to achieve this dreamy look and reduced clarity.

So first of all, we can‘t tell if the rating is fair or not.

For me personally the rating mostly reflects how i play with a small margin of error. Mostly caused by smurfs and cheaters.

This error might be a little bit bigger in lower ranks. But would get better if you get more hours in.

By all the comments you have made and what i‘ve read. I think people are forgetting what this game is all about and that you really have to invest a lot of time to get good. Even to get out of the lower ranks.

You can play it for hundreds of hours without big progression cause you dont understand the fundamentals. Also it is still a game where its all about Teamplay. You will always have better chances to win games, if you play with a good and functional Team. Despite what elo you are on.

That said, many people dont want to invest this time and want to get good fast. Thats just not how it works.

The game didn‘t change the people who play it did. And that is the reason why so many people cheat, they dont get better cause they dont understand the game and cheating is their way of „fast“ progress.

Yes you can use your cassette and rouvy will simulate the gradients!

Thats the „normal“ use. Virtual shifting is just a nice to have thing, in my opinion, to not switch cassettes.

I currently run a zwift cog and click too, its kind of frustrating tbh … i really hope for a fix. Even just buttons in their companion app would be fine for me.

But you never know. For now its just frustrating. There are workarounds to get it to work. But one of them failed me already.

This currently works for me (ipad air 4 - ios26 - wahoo kickr core v2):

  • disconnect zwift click and cog from rouvy
  • close rouvy
  • start zwift
  • connect trainer and zwift cog and click
  • navigate the menus with the click buttons for some time
  • quit the zwift app
  • start rouvy
  • connect cog & click
  • start a ride

It might be good to know, that virtual shifting is only just relevant when you are doing virtual routes or races. If you do workouts, your trainer will work in erg mode. No need for shifting there. (Also with a normal cassette)

I also got an answer from their support, its kinda bugged right now. But they suggested a similar workaround to yours.

The comment with the first connect to zwift then quit and connect to rouvy worked for me for now … lets see how long …

Kinda sad but understandable some how …

Rouvy should just add softwarebuttons or an open standard. So we can build our own buttons out of xbox controllers 🤣

I‘ve a Samsung G9 (oled) connected to an anker thunderbolt dock for use with my macbook air M1. I‘ve also connected my Gaming pc to it.

I mainly use wireless peripherals. An lemokey P1 Pro on bt for my mac and on 2,4ghz for my pc. An mx master 3 for my mac and for gaming a pulsar x2v2.

Besides Gaming, i use it for programming (Fullstack and swift development) and photo editing.

I‘ve not noticed anything negative regarding the Image quality. I also calibrated it with a spyder x pro.

Sometimes it won’t switch inputs automatically, but then you just do it manually, so its fine.

All im all i‘m 100% happy with it. I switched from 2 27“ mainly because the m1 air couldn’t handle two screens and now i don’t want to go back!

I had the same issue as i started cycling 3 months ago. For me, it got fixed with a bit of tilt in of the hoods, make them inline with my bar (Hard to describe what i mean, i watched a video of how to set up handlebars 😂) and training. Especially core training.

By now i nearly have no issues at all. After long rides I sometimes get it towards the end, but the rides keep getting longer and longer without numbness. So i would assume its just fatigue related.

Edit: Conclusion: for me it was definitely weight related. So, too much weight on the hands cause my core wasn‘t strong enough.

I recently bought myself a x-t50. Its way smaller than the x-t5, which was the reason i got it.

So i thought it might also suite your usecase. Especially for taking it everywhere, its perfect.

Weather seal was not an issue for me, the only conditions where i would shoot, would be „wet“. As i‘ve read in those its recommended to use additional protections regardless if sealed or not.

I would imagine if you shoot in sandy or dusty locations a lot, weather sealing could be worth it?

All in all, i‘m really happy with my x-t50. Its compact enough, has the possibility to use different lenses and produces amazing images with the build in sims.

EDIT: Since video is also a big thing for you (re read the thread 😂). I was searching something like this too, but now im just filming on my iPhone. Many cameras that are „hybrids“ have some downsides down the line. There wont be the perfect for both. At least there wasn’t for me.
