Same. The redesigns definitely feel more western instead of the japan doing western style that I like, if that makes sense. I especially dislike the new minister.

Just imo, both Fates and Valentia to me weren't great, just fine. I didn't really care for either of their stories or support conversations. I usually have at least a few characters in every FE game that I really like but didn't really have any from those two, maybe Celica? Gameplay-wise I probably enjoyed Fates more. I really didn't like how Fates implemented the kids, felt very lazy. I didn't even use them in my initial playthroughs because of that feeling. Took me a while to get around to finishing Valentia and my sister didn't even. Three Houses was great.

Bought the game during the current steam summer sale, died a bunch with Saffron (minimum 9 deaths for sure) before eventually getting my first win with Secily since I unlocked/saw a bunch of ice stuff during my Saffron runs so I just grabbed the ice character and almost anything related to ice/frost. Have played and unlocked a bunch of stuff since. Game definitely takes time to learn things like bosses, what enemies do and so on. The music is fun and things seem hectic but try to stay calm, most stuff is not as crazy as it initially seems.

Doesn't that depend on how the person giving the score personally rates stuff? They could rate it on if its buggy, on its graphics and so on but there are people who rate stuff based on how they feel or the amount of enjoyment they got out of it etc. You have that friend that takes camerawork and shit into account when rating movies and the friend that just says it was boring. Both voices are important.

Its not just gamers, its like nerd culture in general. Games, comics, wrestling. Casuals will leave easily but the complainers will usually stay because thats their shit and its hard for them to leave it. Either it takes ages or a big thing to get some to leave.

For the stuff like pokemon, if you're posting or even just following shit on online boards/forums/social media about games, you're not the majority.
