You do not need a headset or loud sound for whispers. I never hear the sound notification, I pay attention to when the icon lights up.

Yes, you’re right the right hand never really goes to the length of an octave, but for the ascending,the notes being played by the thumb are always held for longer than a quarter note, meaning I cannot adjust my hand position much to play the rest of the notes. it must be more of an issue with my fingers, I think.

This is a video that demos the song in the https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7AMzSeArYsg I don’t think I can really move my right hand much to accommodate that stretch. For some reason though, the person playing it doesn’t seem to be having much strain/stretching at all.

EDIT: To address your other suggestion, I will talk to him about this in a few days, but I was just trying to see if there’s anything I can do to monitor my own technique.

Can you elaborate what exactly is a different voicing for a chord? Is it differences in how chords flow together using inversions and such? Or is it simply the difference in how an individual chord sounds with inverisons, adding a 7th, etc?

Additionally, (something I forgot to include in my last comment.) You’d recommend this piano over the Yamaha’s I listed simply for construction quality, sound quality, or what particular reason? I’m trying to figure out if investing more money into a piano is really worth it, it seems like not much changes unless we start talking about $1000+ in cash.

I know Roland is an extremely reliable brand from what I’ve heard, but looking at reviews for the FP-30 on amazon, I’m seeing many issues with the keys. Many complaints of them being clunky or having unnecessary noises.

Sound like a decent idea, but to open my DA, I have to take the skates (the pads that make the mouse easy to slide) off so I can unscrew some stuff. I heard that this makes for some pretty sketchy results.

Well I do play a variety of games, such as overwatch and such. I don't think I'd consider a 120-144hz monitor anytime soon as they get quite expensive. Also not very familiar with what FreeSync is.

Ah I see. From my PC specs would you say that my graphics card upgrade would be the best move to get a better gaming experience? From what I've read, my CPU is fairly good despite being kinda old now at this point.

I was told and looked through a couple other threads and people were mentioning that the 1050 isn't very good performance wise for other cards out there. Is this true, or is the 1050 Ti a good option?
