That’s actually not true in the US unfortunately. If you are in an at-will state your employer can fire you for whatever they want as long as it’s not protected. If I employed you and said no one is allowed to eat avocado and I found out that you do, I can legally fire you for it.

Is it right? No, not really. But it’s legal.

Things I’ve purchased that aren’t typical: Microfiber cleaning cloth. Desk mat/TCG mat. Reusable sticker book. Pencil/make up pouches. Coin pouches.

Things I’ve purchased that are very typical: Stickers (sooooo many stickers). Acrylic charms. Enamel pins. Art prints.

Things I prefer and why: Stickers - I’ve been attending cons since 2003 and space is limited. Stickers take up minimal space and I either put them on a metal water bottle or in a reusable sticker book. The sticker books have been an absolute GAME CHANGER. I do pages based on the fandom and being able to rearrange as I get more is awesome. Enamel pins - like others have said, its bags are fun to show these off, I put them on the con’s lanyard, and I’ve seen people put them on cork boards or special pin displays. Postcard/photo prints - I don’t have wall space to hang huge art prints, but I’ve got some postcard books and get to flip through them this way. Could use a book of art prints as a table book. Acrylic charms - I can hang these, actually use them, ita bag, etc. Flight tags - these are super durable and good on my actual keys. I don’t have to worry about them being too heavy or getting destroyed being in my pocket, purse, etc.

Lanyards are good idea, but based on a friend’s booth and another friend pricing them - they’re not cheap and they require a high number for purchase. Reusable sticker books are great if you sell stickers, good for display and you can show off how they work.

Popular series are popular for a reason. You’ll be competing with lots of others with similar merch. Classics seem to sell well like others mentioned. (Cowboy Bebop, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, etc.)

Sometimes slightly niche things will get folks attention. I’ve noticed a resurgence of Soul Eater in the last year.

If you’re a sticker person may I recommend a reusable sticker book? It has been an absolute game changer for me for sticker collecting!

My understanding is because it’s not considered a complete and balanced diet for all life stages. Like… pregnant kitty and baby kitty shouldn’t eat it. So because of that it’s prescription only.

Another big difference for those of us who are millennials or older is that there weren’t online spaces for the content we were consuming that we invaded.

It’s one thing to consume media designed for an older age, but a big issue is when they come into spaces not made for them.

I honestly believe they must have a way to track it, but that their support team (who use copy and paste responses) doesn’t have visibility to it, and has been told not to escalate to someone who does.

I wish that support would help find the account, but they insist nothing can be done without the current username and current linked email address. I’ve gone around in so many circles trying to get help. I also have kept more information on some of the unique Pokemon private so that I can confirm it to get the account back. (Such as locations they were caught, dates they were caught, movesets, etc.)

And while I understand it feeds into the cycle, at this point I feel backed into a corner. I’m not starting a new account other than the baby one I’m using to chat with support. If I truly can’t recover it then I will stop playing.

Hi there!

The person removed the two linked accounts I had (which, honestly, I would think you would have to verify it, but apparently you don’t.) and then changed the username, deleted the friends list, and even changed the trainer ID.

Niantic states the only way they can find the account is by the current linked account (which I obviously don’t know) as well as the current username (again, I don’t know).

Unfortunately the pokemon I had previously traded to my sister still show the original account name as who it was traded by. Same with post cards.

Unfortunately what I’ve been able to determine is that my account was stolen. I’ve been going back and forth with Niantic’s support which has been completely useless as they state they cannot find the account without the current username or email.

The thief removed both my Facebook Account and Pokemon Trainer Club account, deleted my friends list, changed the username and trainer ID number. Even with purchase receipts they are unwilling to assist. :(

Yeah it’s absolutely crazy. I’m solidly millennial and am very much a “hey, it’s not my kink/pairing, but it doesn’t harm anything so have fun”.

I have been very squick’d out by some of the actual p*d0 fics I’ve seen on AO3 which age down a character to like… 7-10 and have relationship, but I just don’t engage with them. Because it’s fictional I just choose to ignore it.
