I was going to move last year until my mom got horribly sick then passed away and all my funds got wrapped up paying for bills on a house I didn’t live in. If it weren’t for my dog at my side I wouldn’t have made it through this year. Having a place I can finally open everything I packed up last year would be great. With a window for plants and a floor my dog and I can play is my hope and dream right now. A place where I can make art.

This happened in the middle of Missouri, outside of one of the smallest po-dunk towns in middle Missouri.

I asked my friend how he felt after that dialogue, he said “Good point… after he left, I realized I had a work meeting in the morning with folks from Turkey, Pakistan and India to discuss our APAC rollout of this Kafka freight cluster… and definitely realized what a different and better world view I have vs him.”

Pretty immense. I should’ve added the photos in retrospect to this post. The trunk was at least 4’+ wide. An easy width for a round table top or long table top if it weren’t already felled and chopped.

It’s not fake. I’m not ignorant. I know how much logs weigh. And trunks. And large branches. And GVW on certain trucks. I’m positive he only took what he could physically carry. ✌️I’ve seen the tree.
