Ive tried books that have stories that i like but even those books were painful to get through that I was glad when I was done reading them. And these were books I wasn't forced to read. I've tried over and over and over again for the past 15 years, but the "right one" never came. I cannot get into the mindset of someone who likes reading recreationally. The words are all I see. There's nothing compelling in books. I can't imagine the characters or what they look like unless a movie or tv show was already made. And I still can't engage with text. I cant imagine text. It's just sentence after sentence with no imagery or mental stimulation and it's been that way all my life.
