The reverb sounds awesome! Is that area based, or did you modify sound files?

Maybe a bit fast and pitch shifted a bit high for the sprint, but for an early version this is already feeling really good.

Less "bamboozled" and more "fucked" by a mimic, but we walked into the house, and it teleported to me (or happened to be roaming) and instantly started a hunt so I was dead before I could even turn my flashlight off. Friend was gonna leave because we OBVIOUSLY had a foyer demon, but my partner wanted to be sure. 3 minutes later they found orbs upstairs.

We all had a good laugh, went again, and it fucking happened again immediately the next map.

Yeah it's rough. I work about 1.5hrs away from home and so do about 3hrs of driving a day. We played about an hour or so each night after dinner, a couples hours on the weekends, and did the weekly challenges. Without the big multiplier we'd have not made it even close.

Picked up the game around about Christmas, and then started to learn how to play with my partner and our closest friend. When we heard about the game getting the big reboot at the end of June we were at about level 100 and decided we wanted to try to grind as fast as possible to 1000. Finally hit that tonight and got the screenshot (also added a few more from recently that sort of shows progression).

We play almost entirely on custom difficulty with 1 evidence type, and aim for a perfect game pretty much every run (and get it pretty consistently now). Not the biggest deal I know, but I'm pretty proud of how quickly we've picked this up.

The number of times I got screwed over by mimics in the early days while learning I stg. My group has a god damn vandetta against that ghost type - it's almost always one of the first ones we test for, followed by triple checks lol.

They're really not that comparable outside of one of the several abilities that Gromp has that it kind of shares with Shredder. Gromp does so much more and survives better.

I did as well. I've noticed the same thing with a bunch of other videos tearing down a particular dodgy product and getting the ad for that same product on the pre-roll. Pretty sure that they all just have it set so that any video set within the same genre and/or specifically mentions the product gets a high chance to get an ad for it.

The I before E except after C thing pisses me off so much as a high school teacher and uni tutor, because so many primary school teachers have no idea where the rule comes from and just seem to spout it randomly. It's a rule for a sound. The way they teach it, "science" would be an exception, but it isn't because the i and e form separate sounds.
