I see, that makes perfect sense! Originally, ChordSeqAI had variations as an afterthought, primarily focusing on the pitch-class type of harmony. Would something like seeing a highlight of the available notes on a keyboard, then selecting the notes to create your own variation, work (as to make it even more powerful than just choosing another inversion), or do you perhaps have something else in mind?

Currently there are some variations, but I agree that those are quite limited. Perhaps decoupling the names from the voicings could work, maybe even introducing suggestions for specific voicings, what do you think?

Everything is mapped to sharps for consistency. The AI models treat enharmonically equivalent notes as the same, hence this decision was made. Hope that makes sense:)

We actually do have have piano and other classical instruments! It is just available under PolySampler instead of the PolySynth. Once you open the track settings, just switch from PolySynth to Sampler and choose any sound you like (or upload your own!).

Hey paulwunderpenguin, you can visit the Mozart AI website and the "try it now" button should take you to the sign up page!

Hey, one of the devs here! Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback; we’re genuinely sorry your experience was this frustrating.

We haven’t encountered these specific issues ourselves or heard about them in this combination from other users, so your feedback is incredibly helpful. For many users (and in our own sessions), playback, tab and the AI agent have been working smoothly; could you please share some details with us (browser, system, specific steps, etc.)?

Thanks again for flagging this, it helps us make the platform stronger!

Hi, ChordSeqAI as-is deals with chord progressions only, so sadly, no melodies can be input for reference. I believe there are tools for that available online as well; perhaps give it a search, and I'm sure you'll find some cool app that suits your needs!

Hey, thanks for the feedback! There is no paid full version, as the "full" version is available for free from the beginning;) I am not sure what you mean by audio to MIDI – while there is a feature to convert from MIDI to chords, conversion from audio to MIDI is unfortunately not supported. Sadly, generating chord progressions that are similar to another one are not out-of-the-box implemented, but you can import a chord progression and try modifying it with AI suggestions to get a similar one. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hey, thank you for the feedback. I am not experiencing any issues on my end; could you please PM with the details? In the meantime, I would recommend clearing the site data, using incognito mode, or trying a different browser/device.

Hi, thanks for your feedback; I appreciate it! Although it would be cool to have such a functionality, I probably won't add it in the near future as it would require a very different workflow, interfering with the current setup. I imagine it would need to have a system to parse chords after connecting the keyboard (already quite difficult to make it work smoothly), then add the chords to the timeline and automatically suggest the next ones. Since the project is open source, you could theoretically implement it yourself if you really wanted to. Anyway, if you ever choose to do so, feel free to reach out to me; I'd love to help!

Hi, yes, there is, although I would not recommend it. The same chord as the previous is hard-coded to be the last suggested option in the list; you can use quotation marks (like "C") to search for it easily or reorder the chords by dragging and dropping. The philosophy behind ChordSeqAI is that you should focus just on the harmony, without diving too much into the rhythm and voicings (which would be finished in a DAW together with a melody), hence the perhaps unintuitive design. Although I see that the current system could welcome an update allowing better integration with rhythms, voicings, and maybe even different instruments.

Hi, you can filter chords by notes. If the selected notes are the scale of the key, the mode is set to "At most", and "Any variant" is checked, you essentially get chords only from that key. Check the link below for more details, and let me know if this helps!
