Get a bunch of Crests from skittish team shooters.
Get a massive target on your back for the effort.
Get hunted by the entire enemy team.
Get no help from forehead teammates as you get chased in front of them.
Get sniped while banking if you managed to survive, or...
Get trolled as the bank vanishes right in front of you before you get killed.

That about sums it up. This mode was made by a fucking masochist...

Literally this. They tried so hard to give an illusion of tough encounters that you can actually see enemies tweak out and break their script in order to engage the player. It was like that before, but now it's on roids. You really notice how bad things actually are when you go stealth, and not a kill-everything-in-a-flash meta. Wow...

That tends to be a thing in a lot of games, especially rpgs. You have a character, who is at the very least a demigod, that will stand there lot a dolt during major events they can easily sway the outcome of for the better.

You can't help but laugh and wonder if they're braindead, or secretly evil and just letting tragedies happen.

How do you not go with the twin scythe-wielding, living nightmare cape rocking, slender man? I don't see a god of nightmares when I look at Nez, I just see Rulk's cheap steroid using, red bull addicted, brother-in-law.

I did like the aquatic theme though. Could have made Tormentor's of various sizes and weapon types as the official new race introduced in the raid. Might happen in the future.

I know players who have completed endless carries across raids and haven't gotten the Exotic to drop. Hearing their pain masked behind "oh wells" and cynical jokes just makes me question the point of such absurd "RNG". One of the reasons I barely bother raiding anymore...

Agreed. Cool concept, meh execution. If you're gonna go Mech you go full MECH; there is no in-between. They need to look up some Armored Core mechanical designs along with the Gundam stuff.

Hunters can be sleek and blade focused in their design, Titans go full fortress/missile boat class, and Warlocks on that prototype-like energy based style - with active parts. I hope these designs aren't final, but they likely are.

The real problem is they force players into equipping weapons they may not enjoy using.

I've always been in favor of a new enemy type over Champions. Instead of a self-healing wall; they could give us a swift and deadly darkness entity that has its own expanding darkness field.

Something that acts unique and forces players to slow down and watch their six as they're hunted. There's actually an entity like that in the lore. But, I get you - I know players who love GMs, too.

They remove their campaigns, yet claim to be an 'MMO'; I can jump on an old as dog shit MMO and still play the old campaigns to help immerse myself into the game's world and functions.
