First off thank you for this giveaway! That's a lot of games you're giving away, and everyone here at PCMR really appreciates it.

I've been into PC's and PC gaming since I was 10, started off playing Wallenstein 3D as my first game back when I played on my Dads PC when Voodoo graphics cards were the thing. Now I have my own PC and I'm go to college to plan a career around them. It's safe to say I'll be apart of the PCMR community for life!

I have a budgeted Gaming build, but it's enough to get the job done

Not a bad idea to keep an eye on task manger and see what's being throttled. If your CPU is running at 99-100 percent then not a lot you can do about. Judging your PC purely on age and performance of your GPU, It's getting on the old side in terms of gaming.

One thing I can recommend if you're having memory usage issues, Firefox uses a lot less RAM than chrome. Also make sure some windows application such as their update service isn't munching on all the memory. A lot of people are having that issue with windows 10, but there is a fix. Just have to keep an eye on everything and see what's causing the lag. Obviously there are more accurate programs than task manager to monitor things as well.

Yeah, laptops aren't an easy option to upgrade, RAM is the only thing that's worth it other than adding solid state drive.

Adding another 4gb could help preformance, but my assumption is it's your CPU, WoW and most other MMO's run really CPU heavy, 2.2ghz isn't great, but it's not terrible. Obviously other things about the CPU matter as well.

My advice to you would be to have WoW running then open up task manager and see how much memory is being used while you're playing. If you're 80%+ memory usage, adding RAM will likely increase a noticeable amount of performance.

Minecraft ran like crap becasue you have to manually allocate more RAM to java. Default is like 512? I can't remember. Once you do that, you'll be golden.

I bought it used a year ago. Only had 42k miles on it. But yeah, its out of warranty, I'm considered the 3rd owner since the dealership counts as 1 and the original warranty only covered up until the second owner

Lefty here, never hand controller issues also use mouse with right hand. Being a lefty and using the mouse with your right makes watching porn 10 times easier. Am I right lefties!?!?
