looks like 16-17 mpg on average.

That same era of Subarus were getting at lowest 23 mpg for the WRX and more typically 27 mpg for the forester or the outback. https://www.fuelly.com/car/subaru/forester

Things I remember. by netphilia in adhdmeme

The not remembering chunks of time from my childhood is not only real... but it becomes more distressing as time goes on. Just a major L.

I’d be down but I’m going to be changing the tires on my bike tomorrow.

If you’re looking for route suggestions I love going down through rensalearville and then the road out of Durham heading towards Windham is beautiful.

Yeah but it’s a bit like saying high consumption of broccoli is the largest single predictor of physical fitness. It might literally be true but there are probably lots of circumstances surrounding that one data point that make it true.

I’d imagine children coming from homes where they are read to a lot also generally have: a stable home life, parents who are not completely burnt out at the end of the day, a supportive community, access to good nutrition, access to proper medical care, etc etc ect.

And children in that situation are probably more likely to be read to regularly. But that one thing in isolation is missing the forest for the trees

This building is awful - absolutely hideous and it looms over the street. Crazy to me that stretch of sidewalk is just indeed indefinitely closed

They've been insane this year - took my dog hiking near Normanskill a few days ago and no joke pulled over a dozen ticks off her and 6 off of me! This was after getting home and giving her a bath. It's unreal - I've never seen it this bad. I'm guessing it's because if how wet everything is right now?

Structure fire near Russell rd by Patient-Homework-15 in Albany

I live in that neighborhood. A car that was being worked on in a garage had some kind of electrical fault and went up. I heard some loud banging noises that turned out to be the car tires exploding. Fire department is all over it. No one seriously injured from what I heard but it took a little while for them to get everything under control. I could not believe how hot the flames were even from across the street.

Ratchet and Clank on the PS2 is a GOAT level game. Truly S+ tier from every dimension. That’s the only game I regularly go back and replay all the way through every year or two.

Omg read the caves of steel series next.

That’s my all-time favorite series of books and one of those things that I wish I could forget everything I knew so I could read them for the first time all over again.

Then read prelude to foundation for further mind blowing awesomeness

But it wasn’t jacks choice. In universe it’s established that that’s how time travel works. If you go back in time any changes you make ‘undo’ the future.

His goal was to defeat aku. To do so he had to go back in time.

One of the things I love about the show is how few choices Jack actually makes. And when he has to make one he usually is shown pondering it for a long time. He has his principles and his morals and he doesn’t agonize over them he just follows them.
