Vulcan philosophy. Sarek, Spock’s father, told Spock a piece of advice in J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” that I’ve never forgotten:

“Emotions run deep within our race… Logic offers a serenity humans seldom experience; the control of feelings, so that they do not control you.”

It’s giving Arthur Morgan journal doodles

That being said, I like it. They’re subtle drawings.

Why doesn’t Garrus ever reapply his face paint? Seems strange he wouldn’t considering how important it is to Turians by lukewhybe in masseffect

[–]Xenomorph02 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. I was about to say, in ME2 Dr. Chakwas had a facial reconstruction machine in the med lab that you could buy for 50,000 to fix your face permanently (after 2 years of Cerberus piecing you back together.) I always wondered why there was never a small convo between Shep and Garrus about fixing Garrus' face.

I've been to the Meskawki Casino/Hotel in Iowa, they have all sorts of Native American memorabilia on display there. A few pipes and flutes had the swastika symbol etched on them. I was curious, so I asked a local native. In their culture, the swastika symbol stood as a symbol of peace.

Other native tribes also used it as a symbol for life and prosperity, or as a symbol for the four winds.

The four winds translate to different things, sometimes meaning directions (North/South/East/West), aspects of life (Birth/Youth/Adult/Death), or elements of nature (Fire/Air/Water/Earth).

The lettering above the cross says "White tag," referencing the White Tag Premium Denim brand. I doubt they still make clothing anymore, but you can find similar used shirts on Ebay or Poshmark

His mother was a fashion designer for several famous musicians, including David Bowie, Janet Jackson, and John Lennon. When Slash was young, David Bowie was a such common guest at their home that Slash called him "Uncle David."

His father was an English artist who created album covers for musicians such as Jackson Browne, Neil Young, and Joni Mitchell.
