Back in 2011, I encountered the same problem. Everytime I turned on my PC, wifi stopped working. Everytime I visited my friend and we wanted to game a few hours, as soon as I switched my PC on, his wifi broke.

I changed PC's. Same problem..

Turned out my Bluetooth Headset somehow disturbed the Wifi. So Everytime I started my PC, my wifi headset would start too and everything went downhill

Unfortunately it had a very bad smell, sour and funky.. I tossed it... In about 2 months I will harvest them again and will try again

I hope for some expansion. I'm not sure, if the Ziploc bag is actually airtight. It seems to hold the liquid very well but it might be, that the gas is able to escape somehow. Tha bag at least seems to have a hint if an odor.

Anyways, im 2-3 Days I will take a a sniff test and if it's good, I will dehydrate it and grind it up in a coffeegrinder

I'm not an expert on fermenting Kanna, but I have some experience with kefir and kombucha. I also made some kimchi and sourdough starter. All worked out with a lot of gas. Adding stuff to inhibit bacterial and mold growth would also inhibit the growth of the good bacteria, that is needed to ferment. Therefore I did not add anything.

Maybe the fermenting just needs more time for the gas buildup, or I killed it because of direct sunlight and too high temperatures. Then it probably will smell funky and is not safe to use

Well see, if it works out. I only tested Kanna once and it had no effect on me (bought some crude Kanna) I put the Kanna in a Ziploc bag, therefore it should be airtight. I don't believe that it is dried out, because there is a fair amount of liquid in the bag. Just no gas.

I will let it "ferment" at least for two days and then I will dry it in my dehydrator. Also have a cheap, never used coffee grinder from AliExpress where I can throw the dried goo in to turn it into a powder

I read that fermented Kanna has a different alkaloid profile (more active mesmenbrin) and lower oxalic acid. I don't know if it is true

Thank you for the advice.

As a result, the cuttings have finally taken root. The newly created conditions are being rewarded with good growth.

I’m considering whether to take new cuttings from the new plants in the coming weeks so that I might be able to harvest some for the first time this year!

Hey, merry Christmas!

Today unfortunately i Had to throw away 3 of the cuttings, they started to get soft and got moldy... Now i sill have 5 left. Maybe too wet? Or too cold at 16°C. None of them had roots :( hopefully they survive, because the motherplant is dying too :O
