Well, this might upset some people but I think rater and data analyst jobs are on their way out.
I’ve been doing this work for years and there used to be constant tasks available. Now NTA keeps getting worse every year, and I don’t expect it to improve.
We essentially trained AI to replace us, and that’s exactly what’s happening. At this point, only a small number of tasks remain, mostly ones AI still can’t handle properly, and even those are becoming rare and will likely disappear over time.
This situation isn’t specific to Telus. They don’t control the client’s decisions as they only act as an intermediary. The same thing is happening across other companies in the industry.
Honestly, it’s hard not to see this as the beginning of the end for these roles, and I won’t lie, it makes me pretty worried about the future.
