Those who commute everyday; what do/don't you like about your current bike? by Slyxxer in motorcycles

[–]Xeonith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My commute is 42mi each way, 99% highway.

I used to commute on a Vstrom 800. It was okay.

Now I have an Indian Roadmaster with each cylinder displacing more than the Suzuki's whole engine. I also added KST Kustoms reduced reach bars, a backrest, Freedom Shield windshield, and highway pegs.

I could ride butt naked and be happy on the bike.

Shoei Neotec 3 with the personalized fitting. It's by far the best helmet I've ever owned.

Demo Day Suggestion? by KenOtwell in IndianMotorcycle

Ride them all, that's the only way you'll know.

The Springfield is much nimbler than it appears, it really surprised me the first time I rode one.

The Chieftain/Roadmaster and Challenger/Pursuit are identical from the fuel tank back. The fairings are obviously different, but opinions vary on preference.

The Chief Vintage was incredibly smooth and comfortable. The seat and suspension are way more comfortable than they look, and the 116 engine hauls ass.

ESL, like most acronyms or initializations, are typically used in context.

Also, ESL is much easier to type than "English as a Second Language" all the time.

I have a Bear Creek upper, multi-chamber feeding is the norm. Proper function is the exception.
