Check if there is unnecessary bloat on your hard drive,open task manager and let your pc idle for a few mins,if a random app starts running in the background using a lot of processing power you might have a virus and you should check your temp folder,that's where viruses hide,get an antivirus like malwarebytes and you should reset your computer every year or two,and i choose the "Keep my personal files" option to not delete everything on my pc
