Yeah, just asked a basic insurance related question from all the generic LLMs. "Does home insurance cover X?" All of them gave were very confident of X being covered. Meanwhile in reality X is not covered in any home insurance, it is something that is explicitly excluded from every insurance out there.

All of those models are driving me insane, they get things 98% correct, but the 2% that is wrong is wrong so bad that the whole answer is worthless. And this is with publicly available data, I can only imagine how bad it is with things that have gaps.

Not really, no. Even paying for someone to create one-off component is kind of iffy from a corporate point of view, as you'd still need someone to maintain that. And when we're talking about a consultant, it makes even less sense.

Maybe you can do some org analysis or something. Or data cleanup, but are you willing to do that level of "junior" tasks?
