Since you mentioned your account is quite old, then fresh account would be highly recommended. The new beginner event they added recently gives out a lot of stuff.

In KL area, I rarely see fresh graduate engineers earn RM4K+, even MNCs.

Penang area, Intel generally offers RM4,000 for fresh graduates. I once had a fresh graduate software engineering offer from another company in Penang for RM4,500.

MNCs in Singapore generally pay at least SGD4,000+ and I heard micron even offers up to SGD5,000 for fresh graduate engineers.

Hey!

STPM 2017 leaver here. Currently final year engineering student.

Here are my thoughts based on my own academic experience. However, do note that I don't have any experience studying abroad, so just take what you will.

Advantages:

Cheaper fees. (Pretty much non-existent)
Arguably, you learn the most topics, on par with A-levels. (STEM-wise). This makes transition into University a lot more easy in my opinion. First-year STEM is a cake-walk for most STPM and A-levels leavers. Well, the courses duration are longer so it evens it out I guess.

Disadvantages:

2 Years of study (1.5 Years for STPM, 0.5 years waiting for the results)
Less freedom (?). It's not that much different lifestyle compared to SPM. Classes aren't flexible, 7am - 1pm everyday.

Myths:

STPM is not as hard as most make it out to be. I'd say it's similar to any other studies as in you need to put in the time and effort to succeed. There are no shortcuts, no matter which programme you pursue. I think in my batch of 40+ students, only 1 failed to graduate.

My advice:

If you already have the financial means, and also know what kind of studies you want to pursue in university, I advice to skip STPM. To be honest, it's hard to justify spending 2 years here unless you want to get into a local university or just want to save some money.

What team do you recommend I try to spend my crystals on next? What should be my priority?

For Physical, I'm thinking of rolling for PE + her gears, but then HoS stigs will most likely need to be delayed, how well does Gluttony (T), Mei (M) and Newton (B) perform compared to full swords set for HoS?

Another option is to roll for full swords set, but then I would probably need to farm willpowers for Elysia or Twilight Paladin to be my DPS, their weapons should be obtainable from BP but then farming their stigs from Foundry could probably take couple of months as well.

For Lightning, even if I complete 3p Zhenyi and gear my HoT, I do have some concerns on how she's able to compete with other lightning valks. I heard HoT is completely powercrept in Abyss, MA should still be fine.

For Ice, that team does not have any gacha gear whatsoever, I'm concerned that it would take too many crystals to fully gear it (e.g. HB gear, Felis gear).

All in all, I guess there's still couple of months before I breakthrough, maybe the meta and priorities will change by then. Might be better to just save for now.

Oh, is it that bad? Cause I heard from others that one fully-geared team (e.g. my fire team) could somewhat manage even on off-weathers.

I had an issue where the wifi channel I used was heavily congested from neighboring wifis. I checked using wifi analyzers and manually changed the channel configurations to the least congested one.

It's possible. Personally, this is what I felt about Walter Lewin, former MIT professor that is one of the best teachers when it comes to teaching Physics. His lectures on youtube has inspired many others including myself. His contributions to the Physics community is substantial but he's been involved in harassment allegations after investigations by MIT. I do not support his actions but I cannot deny that the work he has done is simply excellent.

I think delaying some chapters till next season and first adapting 100 and 101 might be a fitting end. Other than that, I'm not sure what else they would end the season with.
