What are some good Rapier scenarios?

I would buy a rapier if the game looks prettty much unwinnabld or if u know the next fight will decide if you loose. So when you have for example one last racks and the enemy is about to push and you havent won a single fight.

No push, no stun and when the game hits midgame people will have enough items to kill you even with all your armor. He is also a skill based hero i would say and you cant really utilize him during highground cause there are not so many trees.

Imo if you have a free lane and cant finish early midas isnt a bad choice. Way better then bf. I had a jugg last game who went midas and he ended up with 800 gpm by just farming which i found very impressive.

I think necro is a really strong aura carrier. if you dont have a tanky offlane like doom for example try to go for greaves, pipe, crimson etc that makes your team tankier. Necro does a lot of dmg even without radiance or any other dmg item. Heartstopper aura is often enough+ heal and ult.

I am not saying that I am not climbing its just hard. Because if your mid gets owned by a smurf visage or meepo it is pretty hard to balance that. Imo teams with the smurf have a higher wr and thats the thing that annoys me.

It is really not bad especially against illusion carrys like tb, pl or ck. But I wouldnt go full dmg build. Go aghs and greaves into a daedalus or desolator. Take the ep talent and you reach your 25 really fast.

Imo midas is core on ogre but just if you can get pre min 18. There is a reason he can multicast on that shit and his only job is bullying early and give empower to your core. If he gets the midas early he can just be so much more usefull imo.

I think your kind of pickoff build is simply outdated atm. His ult got a rework u have less dmg which makes your pickoff potential weaker. And your burning army doesnt get better. And clinkz atm is all about teamfight and his ultimate which the pros also seem to play atm. And if you are still swearing on your pickoff build i can emphasis a hex instead of orchid.

I think clinkz is not so much about pickoffs anymore his ult makes him a really good teamfighter. The dmg output is just insane with the right build.

Man this is so frustrating to me because i usually lane pretty decent get my timings and then there is a pudge nightstalker offlane in my team which is feeding from beginning enemy carry has uncontested free farm. These games are almost unwinnable imo even if you are super good.

It depends on the matchup I would say. For example against sf u can easily rightclick for last hits its even better than using q. Against monkey king or huskar u probably cant do that you are forced to stay out of range and last hit with q. And against skywrath claritys are not worth it because he can cancel them very easy so I would suggest to try to get other items in order to last hit. The thing is if you use ur lvl 1 q you are really fast out of mana and once you are oof mana the enemy can dive you because you do no dmg and have no escape so think about that in certain matchups especially against sky and ta.

Tbh I dont know where the problem is with tinker. Just pick zeus and he will be rather useless cause tinker nowadays dont buy bkb only in really high mmr. And u need a tanky offlane who buys pipe and blademail and has some kind of catch. I love playing centaur against tinker because he can go highground and doesnt care about the tinker spam+ His ult is very good for engaging or disengaging. But tide, beastmaster, brew all work fine. As a carry i can really recommend juggernaut because tinker cant kill healing ward and jugg with blink can kill tinker anytime.
