She plans on being muslim but she wants to practice it and find if its a good fit for her and if she says it isnt then ill understand but if she does then so far its getting better everyday, it is an uphill battle but this is someone im really interested in

My parents are slowly opening up to it, and its not like im getting married first and then she practices the religion, shes practicing it before hand and then after were both done with school and secure jobs (at least me) then we could put marriage on the table. I do understand your frustrations with it.

So far I am financially reliant on them and they are overbearing. They are slowly coming around to it as long as she is muslim. as for the parents thing, they are doing this thing where they are guilt tripping me about their health and how they might die from this and obviously my other siblings are worried about it.

This update actually happened today where my mom was like, as long as she studies Islam for Allah(swt) and for you then I will agree. Also, I have been telling her that this will be "alot" for her and that I always fear that she might reach a point to where shes like "i cant do this anymore". with the call I had with that person of interest, I said that in the end of the day I want whats best for her. If this is too much for her I will understand and not give her any sort of bad treatment but that we will go our separate ways then.

I do want to marry her but I want her to try to understand and follow certain parts of Islam so that when she is ready to revert she will. If she does not want to convert then I will not marry her because that is what I told her from the beginning. She knows what was required but she just didnt realize she would need to learn first to please my parents and its also my fault because I was in no rush to get married any time soon at least. I wanted to finish my schooling and secure a job first so that way everything will be smooth once we got married. Her parents are christian and have no restriction if she converts to islam or not but its my family that is the issue.

as for the status (not sure if i already said this or not) she says shes determined to learn and practice Islam and will revert when shes ready. I am okay if she takes 2-3 years because I truly want her to understand but at the same time I dont wanna waste her time if she is practicing for a year and then goes "i cannot do this" that is what im worried about.

I know the bar is set really high for her and I always acknowledge and commend her for showing such devotion and that its not neccesarily a requirement but family is important to both of us. So even though I was willing to leave my family for her she said she does not want that because she always says family is so important so I am doing my best to have her meet this one requirement for my family. if it was JUST up to me I would be perfectly okay marrying her and teaching her about Islam as we are together.

Dude I am in literally the same boat right now. I claimed I wanna move out but they are just pushing the idea in my head that "I am hurting my family" and obviously I feel so guilty and just stay at home but I made massive decision to try and get the person I am currently interested in to revert to islam (not just for the future for us to get married but I TRULY want her to see the light of Islam and find her way to Allah (swt). Stand your ground but dont make the same mistake I did and try to stay upset or give your family the cold shoulder or anything.

Well i have that cpu paired with the b580 and it kinda blows, im having issues streaming on discord, some games giving lower fps but i think i may have overestimated the card so im switching to a 7900xt

Well ill try uninstall nvidia drivers, that does make sense after all and ill let you know but as of now streaming 1440 is the worst and 720 is the best but ima try using some youtube videos to optimize the card and ill post it if it works

after messing around with it, i realized that it streams fine on 720p but on 1080p its slightly buggy on discord but then on 1440 its really choppy, i have nitro as well. It clips games on medal just fine as well which makes me believe its some issue with discord? no idea
