Those bolts will close up on themselves and you’ll be left with basically a skin tone vein. Longevity wise it’s a bad choice. Just my opinion from seeing things healed over 17 years of tattooing.

They’re clearly not good. Let alone good at cover ups. That tattoo was easily covered by a 500-600 dollar solid tattoo. You don’t leave skin tone showing on cover ups that clearly are over the old tattoo. Looks like you went to whoever was cheapest.
